Lunar Eclipse: Olaf Scholz goes to China

Germany's Olaf Scholz said Friday on his first visit to China as chancellor that he sought a deeper economic relationship with Beijing but expected equal treatment. https://bit.ly/3T8PRQf

Eclipses bring changes – a getting rid of the old before the new can come – similar to ‘an opening of the gates’, so to speak. They synchronise with major shifts in consciousness and can act as a seed for future change – where we ‘suddenly see the light’. The operative word in the last sentence is “can” ...in other words only if we are ready and allow it.

Coincidentally, for Germany, both the solar eclipse of Oct. 25 and the upcoming lunar eclipse of Nov. 8 are very significant as they fall on the meridian at Berlin.

In my post, Solar Eclipse Calls For Leaving Past Fears Behind [1], I wrote:

To illustrate the essence of the eclipse with an example, I will choose Germany. Why? Because the solar eclipse [2sc] of Oct. 25 falls significantly on the MC at Berlin. In previous posts , I explained that by allowing itself to be bullied by the US, Germany is getting what it deserves. “if you have no self-respect, why would anybody have any respect for you?”. Certain planetary combinations in Germany’s chart were asking it to be more aggressive and “manifest some of what had been kept under wraps because of hidden fears, internal taboos, shame, intimidation or ignorance of potential”. A dead end had been reached because of wrong turn that was taken earlier in life. A positive response would result in a decision to take the leap to another course, another attitude, by means of which a different actuality, life situation and future is created.

Now additionally, the lunar eclipse of Nov.8 falls precisely on the meridian in the German national chart (May 24, 1949; 0:00 CET, Berlin). This in itself would make this extremely significant for Germany. Moreover, the mundane chart drawn for the eclipse (Nov.8, 2022; 12:02 CET, Berlin) also has it placed on the meridian as part of a T-square with Saturn-Uranus. This doubles the effect of the eclipse, so to speak. The Saturn Uranus square represents a conflict between the old and the new, between the status quo and something radical or revolutionary. We can see Saturn in the powerful authority figures (including hegemonic nations like the US) clamping down on the people (nations) trying to maintain order and control, and Uranus in the people (nations) pushing back and fighting for their freedom.

But it can also be seen the other way around, with the powerful channeling Uranus into ideological reforms in a radical break from the past. And the people holding on to Saturn and trying to maintain the traditional values that are being overthrown.

Finally, we note that the Sabian symbol for the lunar eclipse describes Olaf Scholz’s dilemma very well:

PHASE 47 (TAURUS 17°): A SYMBOLICAL BATTLE BETWEEN "SWORDS" AND TORCHES."

CONFRONTING INNER DUALITY

Life is a struggle between external and internal opposing forces

"Confronting inner dualities"

In seeking further and further clarification of a newly-discovered truth, we are required to develop warrior qualities and fight the real forces of ignorance, domination and greed. Indecision is a fatal flaw for a warrior - who must reduce matters to good and evil, black and white, and choose definitively between this or that, necessity and desire.
