A man stabbed two schoolgirls in the town of Illerkirchberg in southern Germany on Monday. One of the girls, aged 14, later succumbed to her injuries, police have confirmed. Local media reports suggest the authorities apprehended the suspect at a local refugee shelter.  According to a police spokesperson, the perpetrator attacked his victims on the street while they were on their way to school at around 7:30am on Monday morning. https://www.rt.com/news/567713-girl-stabbing-attack-germany/

Eclipses bring changes – a getting rid of the old before the new can come – similar to ‘an opening of the gates’, so to speak. They synchronise with major shifts in consciousness and can act as a seed for future change – where we ‘suddenly see the light’. The operative word in the last sentence is “can” ...in other words only if we are ready and allow it.

While eclipses are worldwide in scope, their effects are most prominent in places where they align with the angles. A chart for the 8 Nov. lunar eclipse has it aligned very significantly with the meridian in the town of Illerkirchberg.

The eclipse Moon in Taurus is ruled by Venus which is placed in Scorpio. Venus represents love, sensuality, relationship. Love is a serious undertaking for Venus in Scorpio. Venus in Scorpio are romantics and may sometimes be very possessive and jealous. This is appealing for some and intolerable for others. It is quite likely that the school girls were receiving unwanted male attention from their stalker.

The eclipse Moon is conjunct the stars Almach of Andromeda and Menkar of Cetus, the sea monster. Almach is princess Andromeda's snagged foot about to be bitten off by conjoining Menkar, the jaws of Cetus. There are just two possibilities here. Either Andromeda succeeds in withdrawing her feet or Cetus devours her. The lesson in this area is that our denial and naiveté creates our own entrapment in the Jaws of Cetus—the jaws continually pulling us into the transmutational fires of human experience.

The strong influence of the South Node of the Moon in Scorpio during both the solar and lunar eclipses means that the way forward will require returning to the patterns of the past that need to be more fully laid to rest so that their putrefaction can more fully fertilize new growth.

Bernadette Brady in her book Predictive Astrology: The Eagle and the Lark gave the name of “6 South” to the eclipse family of the Scorpio Solar Eclipse which the Full Moon lunar eclipse brings to a culmination.

Brady also said there can be “sudden events” within relationship, “like falling in or out of love, or sudden sexual encounters.” With Venus being closely aligned with the Scorpio Solar Eclipse, and Venus ruling the subsequent Total Lunar Eclipse in Taurus that will be conjoining Uranus, one possible manifestation could be sudden shifts within relationship.

This is what may have happened in the tragic news story from Germany. On Monday, 5th December, the transiting Moon was in Taurus and moving over eclipse elements in Taurus. Incidentally, Mercury which is on the MC conjunct the eclipse Sun and Venus is the ruler of the 5th house (school children).
