Understanding the world around us depends on our power to perceive patterns of meaning and to make the right connections. Often we miss a lot when we cannot see the common thread connecting events linked to the same planetary combination. Of late the Sun-Pluto-Node Grand Cross has been operative in several events covered at this blogsite.
Here we look at the consequences of the Sun-Pluto opposition chart drawn for Kiev, Ukraine, where the Grand Cross aligns with the meridian.
In his book, “The Combination of Stellar Influences”, for Pluto/Node in its difficult expression, Ebertin has:
- A common and tragic destiny of a large mass of people
To this if we add two other pieces of information, things become much clearer (a) Pluto is in Capricorn (b) Pluto is in 6th house.
In this context I refer to two earlier posts [1][2] that serve as excellent examples of positive responses to the Sun-Pluto-Node Grand Cross.
The Lion that escaped from the Berlin zoo [2], could easily teach, the Pluto in Capricorn lesson to the nearly 400,000 Ukranian soldiers who went like sheep to the slaughter. Most of us have not been too aggressive with our Plutonian drives. In such a case where defiance and rage has not been a part of our repertoire in dealing with power and authority we face the inevitable tragic mass destiny of a Pluto/Node interaction.
Next we note that in mundane astrology, the 6th house rules the “armed forces” [3] so that Pluto in Capricorn in the 6th was asking the Ukraine military to overcome fears and give up subservience to authority that was not acting in their best interest.
