Lunar Eclipse and the Saudi Arabia floods

Several areas in Saudi Arabia including Al Baha have been experiencing torrential rain. The rainy weather prompted authorities in several Saudi cities including Mecca, Taif, Al Qunfudhah and Medina to suspend classes and shift to online education.

Eclipses can cause major natural disasters especially in places where they fall in the angles. Shown here is the chart for the Oct.28 lunar eclipse drawn for Mecca. The eclipse luminaries along with the nodal axis align with the meridian implying that was one place that could receive special attention from the eclipse. The eclipse Moon [5ta] is the star Sharatan, beta Aries and placed in the Arabic lunar mansion Al Sharatain which was said to produce storms and floods [1].

On the Ascendant [28cn] is the star xi Geminorum which in ancient China was Tsi-Choui, The Accumulated Waters; or the Massed or Swollen Waters; a close watch was kept on this star to see if there was danger of summer floods [2].
