Egypt’s president said Tuesday that his country would not allow Palestinians to flee the bombardment of Gaza and seek refuge in his country, closing off the only evacuation route for civilians seeking to heed Israel’s warning and leave.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi made his toughest remarks yet on Wednesday Oct. 18), saying the current war was not just aimed at fighting Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, “but also an attempt to push the civilian inhabitants to ... migrate to Egypt.” Egypt’s refusal is rooted in fear that Israel wants to force a permanent expulsion of Palestinians into their countries.
In a previous post on on the Oct.7 events in Israel, I wrote:
The Ascendant [23li] is conjunct the upcoming Solar Eclipse of Oct. 14 at [21li]. In the last few days transit Mars (and the S.Node) have been moving over these degrees thereby providing the trigger for the sudden outbreak of violence. https://tinyurl.com/48xund34
In Egypt’s national chart, the eclipse was conjunct its radix Saturn-Neptune [21li] conjunction on the descendant. Saturn is the earthy planet of boundaries, while Neptune is the watery planet that can dissolve all walls if you allow it. An unrealistic understanding of a situation can easily cause Saturn to be swamped by Neptune.
The South node eclipse in Libra, prompts us to reflect on our past patterns of people-pleasing tendencies and find a healthy balance in our interactions. It’s an opportune time to reevaluate our partnerships, set boundaries, and foster healthier connections.
With the North Node in Aries, we are encouraged to step out of our comfort zones and embrace the qualities of Aries, such as courage, independence, and self-assertion.
PS: Just so we understand Neptune a little better, contrast Egypt’s actions to the US allowing a horde of migrants through its southern borders. Why? Well the US Sibly has Neptune transiting opposite its radix position [23vi]...Is the Neptune here “compassion” or simply “deceit”.
