Saturn in Pisces brings peace to Gaza

“The State of Qatar announces the success of its joint mediation efforts undertaken with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States of America between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), resulting in an agreement for a humanitarian pause.

Hamas and Israel have expressed in statements their readiness to resume hostilities after they agreed to a Qatar-mediated pause in fighting.

The deal includes the release of 150 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails in exchange for 50 people held captive by Hamas in Gaza since the armed group that rules the enclave stormed southern Israel on October 7. Al Jazeera

The planet Saturn is the most feared classical planet usually associated with bad tidings. In this post we shall see how it has helped to bring about a peace accord.

The entry of Saturn into Pisces has been the major highlight of 2023. If we work with Saturn in this sign, it can bring compassion and a gift of subtle insight. Planets in Pisces ask us to acknowledge our implicit connectedness, (two fishes connected) feel things deeply, and identify with the experiences of others. In 1993, Saturn was in Pisces when the Oslo Accord was signed between representatives of Israel and Palestine. It was at this time that the South Africa’s entrenched system of apartheid gave way to a new constitution in 1993, bringing the vote to black Africans and other non-white groups. As in 1993, this year too offers an opportunity for reconciliation from outworn structures and the resentments of the past. Here is the chart for Saturn entry into Pisces drawn for Doha,Qatar.

Now let us progress this chart to Nov 23 and see for ourselves  how elegantly it is triggered on that date with the Saturn-Admetus square once again aligned with the horizon.

The entry of the Sun and Mars into Sagittarius in quick succession on Nov. 22-23  also triggers the square by completing a T.

Here is the Sun-Saturn square on Nov. 23 drawn for Tel Aviv/Gaza. Notice the near perfect alignment of the Sun-Mars-Saturn-Admetus with the meridian marking it as one place where the peace initiatives could succeed!

Mars and the Sun are both conjunct the star alpha (α) Centaurus, Toliman.

Symbolically, the centaur; half man, half horse represents the complete domination by baser influences, instincts, the unconscious uncontrolled by the spirit. The man-beast combination illustrates the conflict between man’s lower animal nature merged with his higher nature of human virtue and judgement, the struggle between the savage and the benign. In the picture above notice that the centaur is shown carrying a spear that impales a wolf. The wolf – a despoiler of flocks, rapacious, cruel, crafty and bloodthirsty – has long been a symbol of evil. In Christian art, animals impaled on lances often allude to vices that must be overcome. A lance exemplifies valor, virtue, war, power, strength and victory over evil. Here, the centaur is shown carrying the wolf to an altar for sacrifice, in other words giving up its old “wolfish”ways, so that among other things, Diana Rosenberg associates this act with “redemption”. [1]

Opposite the Sun and Mars is the TNP Admetus which among other things brings issues to a halt or stoppage. The star here is alpha (α) Perseus, Mirfak, the Rescuer or helper.(Qatar?) In the picture above Andromeda represents the helpless civilian population that was condemned to be devoured by the Sea-Monster...here the military machine.

And conjunct Saturn [1pi] is the star epsilon Pegasus; Enif. Pegasus, is the White Flying Horse. in general,it is of strength and support, that which lifts humanity above the entrapping forces and scenarios common to a less than socially mature world. Enif, Baham and Homam are a group of fortuitous stars that lie over the Aquarian waterbearer, forming the head of Pegasus.
