US Supreme Court Could Upend Federal Agencies’ Authority

 

 

 

This Wednesday, the Supreme Court will hear a case that poses the most direct challenge yet to the legitimacy of the modern federal government. The right-wing legal movement’s target is the “administrative state”—the agencies and institutions that set standards for safety in the workplace, limit environmental hazards and damage, and impose rules on financial markets to ensure their stability and basic fairness, among many other important things. Readers are fully aware that the US Sibly is going through a momentous event referred to as a Pluto return. What many may not be aware is the fact that on Nov. 29, the progressed Sibly solar return will bring the powerful Pluto-Nodes T-square (upheaval) to an alignment with the meridian.

 

In Capricorn, Pluto symbolizes the overwhelming power of large institutions, including governments, which may be either just (in the attempt to serve the society) or unjust (by operating in secrecy to serve only the institution itself or the elites in power). Since Pluto’s astrological meanings include absolutist attitudes we can see governments display this attitude. One example of such an absolutist attitude could be the state dictating confiscation through forced sale of an individual’s home under the laws concerning private property requisitioned for public works. 

Another example can be government agencies seeking to intercept, retrieve, store, and analyze everything communicated by everyone, all in the name of national security, i.e., protection against terrorists clearly violating the freedom of the individual [1]. “Security” (Pluto in Capricorn) is always juxtaposed against “freedom”. The peitioners are seeking redress against the injustices of wrongful use of power to achieve control. 

With the S.Node in Scorpio, the Pluto-Node configuration is telling us that the tendency to be controlling, manipulative and deceitful must be left behind. 

But will the Court uphold the constitution and push back against the government’s overreach. While that is the correct stand to take, it is not something astrology can tell us.
