India and China have each struggled with throat-searing air pollution blanketing their major cities with the onset of winter. Only one country has succeeded in tackling the problem.
China has made strides in scrubbing the once-foul air that had become a fact of life each year in major cities like Beijing and industrial towns across the country. Meanwhile, huge swaths of northern India continue to choke on clouds of polluted air, peaking during the winter period as temperatures drop, winds disappear and farmers across the region set their fields ablaze. Bloomberg cites a study which found that in a 30-day period, New Delhi in India had air pollution levels 14 times higher than Beijing. The news item is dated Dec.7 just a day after Neptune stationed to go direct. A chart for the station at Delhi has Neptune placed on the MC opposite Moon [28vi] on the IC [22vi]. Conjunct the IC is the star Denebola [22vi] in the hind of the Lion.

The priesthood is symbolic of authorities we give power to decide what paths we must follow. Whoever may fail to prove their worth, as guide and mentor, will find they are subject to quite a severe judgement, which gives rise to whatever penalties that await them for their indiscretions. This harsh approach is an intuitive safety measure, felt but rarely consciously understood within society, of the need to guard against the problem of own collective regression.
