His current solar arc directed Saturn[21sc43] is conjunct his radix Sun [22sc25] in Scorpio. This is the “hour hand” of the cosmic clock, so to speak. And let us not forget that the Sun is ruler of the first house while Saturn rules the 6th ...both connected to health issues.
In her book Medical Astrology, Eileen Naumann writes:
Finally, with hard aspects from Saturn or Pluto and especially if the sign Taurus or Scorpio is involved, there is the possibility of such problems as cancer of the throat, colon, bladder or prostate gland.
What then is the “minute hand” ? We don’t have to look far, the upcoming New Moon [21aq] square Uranus [19ta] completes a T-square with Charles’ radix Sun-Pluto triggering the “hour hand” and precipitating the event.
And in this case we can easily identify the "second hand" of the clock, if we make his solar return chart and progress it to Feb. 5 - the date of the news. Notice the progressed horizon aligns with his radix Sun opposite transit Uranus - the elements making up the "minute hand". Coincidence?
PS: To understand how an event takes place, we will take a little digression to illustrate the ideas with a simple experiment. Think of several multi-toothed gear wheels mounted on the same axis but rotating at different speeds – some very fast and others very slow. Now if an observer wishes to shine a ray of light from one end of the rotating axis to illuminate an object at the other end of the axis of the rotating wheels, he knows that this can only happen at the moment when all the gear tooth openings align. Obviously this moment is primarily decided by the movement of the slowest wheel (“hour hand”) and secondarily by the faster moving wheels (“minute” or “second hands”). So also in astrology, the slowest moving wheels are the ones that decide whether an important period has arrived. Thereafter the faster moving wheels decide the exact timing.
