Malicious Prosecutions Could End US Presidency

A storm at sea battering rocky shoreline

In the course of two-and-a-half hours of oral arguments on April 25, justices on the Supreme Court appeared skeptical of a ruling by a federal appeals court that rejected President Trump’s claim that he has absolute immunity from criminal charges based on his official acts as president.

The phases of the Moon are among the most reliable indicators of events on earth. To understand how their energies are focused at any place of interest astrologers routinely draw charts of monthly lunations. The Full Moon of April 23 is placed very significantly on the horizon at Washington DC influencing events in that place. It is the lord of the 9th house which rules law courts so that it is not surprising that the Supreme Court is in the news.

The Full Moon is in its detriment in Scorpio amid stars of the Centaur often called the punisher and depicted as carrying the beast-victim Lupus impaled by his spear (see image). Diana Rosenberg links this area of stars with “harsh intolerance, bigotry and even punishing hatred”.

With the Scorpio Full Moon (hatred, bigotry) in square aspect with Pluto in Aquarius (idealism, fairness and justice) it is not surprising that we see explosive clashes and confrontations dominating the headlines of current events, yet at the same time the cathartic influence of Pluto can empower bold action to create change with fierce determination.

The Justices expressed concern about the future implications of the case, warning of the prospect of a vicious cycle of malicious prosecution that could hamper the institution of presidency for years to come.

The Sabian symbol for the Moon appears to be in agreement with the Justices.

THE STABILISING INFLUENCE OF INSTITUTIONS

Though slow to form, as is land itself, the ways of a community become firmly entrenched and together create a bastion against the storms rising from the collective unconscious.
