Get ready for what may well be the geoeconomic bombshell of 2024: the coming of a decentralized monetary ecosystem. Welcome to The Unit – a concept that has already been discussed by the financial services and investments working group set up by the BRICS+ Business Council and has a serious shot at becoming official BRICS+ policy as early as in 2025.
In his essay on the 2024 Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction, Brian Clark writes:
Both Jupiter and Uranus share an unrestrained, adventuresome, often stormy, character. As boundary crossers, both disrupt social and collective patterns through expansion, inflation, rebellion or interruption. The convergence of these two planets evokes images of innovative shifts in education, culture, religion and science, as well as liberation movements, original trends, and collective protests in response to an intensification of social inequality. It suggests a growth of Promethean qualities, a spirit of change and rebellion against rigid definitions and structures.
With the setting up of a decentralized monetary system under Russia’s chairmanship of BRICS, it may be interesting to look at the current directions in Russia’s chart. The recent Jupiter/Uranus conjunction [22ta] in the money sign Taurus took place opposite the radix Venus/Pluto [21sc] and square the horizon (Asc-Desc axis). In a national chart, the Ascendant rules the people of that nation while the descendant (7th house) rules the nation’s enemies so that the square to Venus/Pluto implies that this energy would reflect in Russia’s dealing with its enemies (USA/NATO ?)
Negatively, Venus (money)-Pluto(manipulation) refers to the use of power to manipulate others through the control of money. The US and Western powers threatening to seize Russia’s foreign exchange reserves is a clear example of Venus/Pluto energy at work!
How about a positive manifestation of Venus/Pluto energies? With Uranus/ Jupiter in Taurus transit opposite Russia’s Venus/Pluto, we can expect the creation of new financial systems that challenge the existing monetary structures.
