Synastry is the art of relationship astrology. It is a fascinating and illuminating study of how individuals or groups interact with one another. No matter how hard we try we cannot get away from the issues that our relationship charts bring up. Atropos/Sappho
To feel that a bond has reached its conclusion--thus one may feel that they no longer have much in common with another or others.
Pluto/Sappho...with Atropos/Siwa
Some friendships are based on "sharing resources" ...perhaps that gives one person a sense of "power" within a friendship. Folks can play dominance games; they can be inconsiderate of another's needs, values, finances, self-esteem or wants. This is a cycle when there are ultimatums or "heavy stakes".
When combined with Atropos and Siwa...radical circumstances, truly deep insights, shared powerlessness can finally bring friendships to an end.... Some relationships or situations may end with a bang -- meaning that anger or rage marks "the end." In this case, "the last straw" can be an argument or an accumulation of anger-- and you may see some "destructive" elements. Ie., a person can be self-destructive or can want to "ruin everything" to show that it's over. We get more insights if we note that in UK’s chart the directed Sun [19le] is moving through the radix 11th house is square its radix Neptune [18sc] in the 2nd house.
Friendships (11) become tense over money/resource issues (2). Since a square creates tremendous stress friendships that have become smothering or suffocating in some way may breakdown under pressure.
And let us not forget that when Neptune is under pressure ...a common response is evasiveness or even downright deception and betrayal!
