HEPHAISTOS - the lame Greek god
Ukrainians seeking to avoid being mobilized for the fight against Russia can now have their legs broken by medical professionals, local media reported on Wednesday, citing advertisements on social media. According to the Ukrainian outlet TSN, ads with the morbid offer appeared on several Telegram channels in the city of Dnepr, in the central part of the country, but were quickly removed. https://www.rt.com/russia/600813-ukraine-mobilization-dodging-break-legs/
The phases of the Moon are among the most reliable indicators of events on earth so that astrologers routinely draw charts for the lunations to assess the nature of the energies acting at any place. As always planets appearing on the angles are the ones to focus on since they are specific for a place. Here the Ascendant for the July 6th New Moon at Dnepr is [0ge]. A Mars-Uranus conjunction on the Ascendant makes hard aspects to the following elements:
Ascendant [0ge]
Uranus [26ta] - Hephaistos [3ge]
Hidalgo [25sc] r - Lilith [26sc] r
Sun/Moon [14cn] - Hades [13cn] - Kronos [15cn] - Askalaphus [15cn] - North Node [10ar]
Primarily the New Moon is conjunct the TNPs Hades and Kronos
KRONOS: Authority; questioning of competency; dealing with red tape, timing or jumping bureaucratic hoops; laws.
HADES: Disgust.
So that we may be dealing with situations where laws and authority are perceived as disgusting. The rest of the elements provide the details.
ASKALAPHUS: Doctors; symptoms and medical conditions
HEPHAISTOS: Problems with the limbs (usually the legs;) crippling lameness.
HIDALGO: Standing on principle & saying what's on your mind (but challenging aspects can = secrecy); here a retrograde Hidalgo hints at inability to stand up to your principles in a direct way
LILITH: selection and/or rejection.
What we are looking at then is a situation where people being unable to stand up directly (Hidalgo) to the authorities (Kronos) choose to be rejected in the selection process (Lilith) by using a medical condition (Askalaphus) of crippling lameness (Hephaistos).
In Greek mythology, Hephaistos was either the son of Zeus and Hera or he was Hera's parthenogenous child. He was cast off Mount Olympus by his mother Hera because of his lameness, the result of a congenital impairment; or in another account, by Zeus for protecting Hera from his advances (in which case his lameness would have been the result of his fall rather than the reason for it).
