British tycoon Mike Lynch dies at sea

British technology tycoon Mike Lynch is among six tourists missing, The Independent understands. Mr Lynch, who founded software giant Autonomy in 1996, was made an OBE for services to enterprise in 2006. In June, he was cleared of conducting a massive fraud relating to a $11 billion (£8.64bn) sale to US company Hewlett Packard.

The luxury yacht sunk off the coast of Palermo, Sicily around 5 am on Monday Aug. 19. On this date we not only have a Full Moon but also a T-square between Venus-Jupiter-Saturn. Presented here is the chart for the exact Venus-Jupiter square drawn for Palermo. Notice that it is significant for place as it straddles the horizon.

From Ebertin’s Combination of Stellar Influences, we have:

Venus-Jupiter (-) disadvantages through wastefulness or through too rich living ... with Saturn: destroyed hopes.

In a root cause analysis, it is always best to start off with the slowest moving aspect. Here it is the waxing semi-square of Saturn (Pisces) -Pluto (Aquarius). (Mike Lynch was born with Saturn opp. Pluto..see horoscope below)

Astrologically, Aquarius has to do with the subject of change. If Capricorn was about fixed structures, laws and rules and Pluto is about powerful people who misused those rules to feather their nests, then Pluto in Aquarius is about balancing differences, justice and freedom. If we look at the consequences of the last transit of Pluto through Aquarius (1778 to 1798), for example, it brought an end to the estate-based society and when human and civil rights were formulated.

Saturn in Pisces asks us to become more aware of the connectedness of all life. One of its other functions is to push the boundaries of our understanding, our place in the universe, and our relationship with the world around us. It is our failure to do this that is the basis of the ominous portents of Saturn in Pisces being associated with disasters (Saturn) at sea (Pisces).

In his Book of Pluto, Steven Forrest writes that under Saturn-Pluto aspects we all get what we deserve.

Also on Aug. 19 the Full Moon in Aquarius [27aq] was opposite Sun in Leo[27le] forming a T-square with Uranus in Taurus [27ta]

The Sun in Leo was conjunct the star Alpha Pyxidis - the Mast of Argo [27le] - the Celestial Ship. About this area, Diana Rosenberg writes: “A longing for power and glory animates souls born under Leo’s head and imperial paw...demanding and taking what they want with an inner sense of “divine right”.”

Uranus in the money Taurus is forcing us to change and can suddenly destabilize a life devoted to money, resources and self-esteem. Uranus is conjunct the malefuc star Algol often prominent in the charts of financial leaders. Among events DR mentions “shipwrecks”.

A cursory look at Mike Lynch’s horoscope [1] shows prominent Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto T-square activated by a second Saturn return in Pisces.
