On why Russia does not respond to US provocations

Hercules attacks the Centaurs

A lot of AMC folks on social media demand something radical like Russia striking targets in NATO and/or having Wagner carry out cross-border incursions against its frontline members from Belarus, but neither are likely to materialize. Time and again, Russia consistently refuses to escalate, only doing the bare minimum of what its most zealous supporters in the AMC demand when it finally decides to do something out of the ordinary.

The reason for this (some would say too) cautious approach is Putin’s fear of inadvertently triggering World War III, which he’s afraid might become inevitable if Russia radically responds to its foes’ provocations due to the fast-moving sequence of events that it could lead to.

Synastry is the art of relationship astrology. It is a fascinating and illuminating study of how individuals or groups interact with one another. No matter how hard we try we cannot get away from the issues that our relationship charts bring up. Each planet (and its progression) in one person’s chart interacts with the planets in the other person’s chart, creating a unique tapestry of energies. In this post we look at the major progressed synastry between the US Sibly [1] and Russia [2]

The current Sibly directed Pluto [4li] is moving in hard aspects to Russia’s chart elements : Icarus [0li] - Tisiphone [2ar] - Elatus [3cp] - Sun [3cp]

Martha Wescott provides the following delineation that elegantly summarizes the issues at stake:

Pluto/Tisiphone

There is danger that "seeking to right wrongs" may affect many people in a very destructive way. (Recall that Pluto rules nuclear bombs too!)

Icarus/Tisiphone

You may see situations where in order to "get justice," people are unwilling to take risks (or be in dangerous situations). In other words when people feel wronged, they can just try to "get away" (from whomever or whatever they perceive as causing the problem.)

When people try to get back at someone, they essentially leap from the frying pan into the fire--they were so hell bent on a payback that they didn't take the consequences of their actions into sufficient consideration.

Elatus is a recently discovered centaur. It bears a perihelion in potentially macho Aries and its node intersects the ecliptic in late Gemini. Here, the intellect of Gemini should overrule the raw nature of Aries. But quite often it is just the reverse. About this Centaur Philip Sedgwick writes:

Elatus becomes an adversarial middleman of sorts in a mythological scenario. The effort to take care of a foe causes the wounding of a hero. It seems with Elatus that every positive result contains a compromise of sorts, especially related to the aggressiveness suggested by the Aries perihelion. A sense of absolute urgency exists in all current confrontational situations making them appear combative. Elatus reminds us that during the passion and fervor of a new fight, care must be taken as to not end up shooting ourselves in the foot (as did Pholus). It is important to ensure that allies are not injured in any form in our efforts to handle the raging battle of life. Strategy comes to mind. Would it be worthwhile to contemplate the long term effects prior to initiating them? Absolutely. Final consequence requires conscious review prior to initial action.
