Outrage After Beloved Rescue Squirrel Euthanized

Believe the Chart… Charts are true. Utterly. With a precision that can stun. The task, then, is to learn and understand the factors and techniques that reveal the truth and to honor, serve and embrace the knowledge of self and the profound gift of life events.

The internet is ablaze with rage after the state of New York seized a beloved rescue squirrel Peanut from its owner's home Wednesday and euthanized it.

The phases of the Moon are among the most reliable indicators of events on earth. To understand how their energies are focused at any place of interest astrologers routinely draw charts of monthly lunations. Myths and stories linked to the stars that form the backdrop to elements of the charts can be woven together providing clues to understanding the news.

Presented here is the chart for Oct 17 Full Moon at New York which fell very significantly on the horizon as part of a Grand Cross with the forming Mars-Pluto opposition that reached exactness on the date of the news.

TNPs Kronos -Hades with Mars symbolizes anger and disgust with government. And essentially Mars-Pluto is a power struggle. You may see many examples of the "I want what I want when I want it" attitude; the bad news is that at least 50% of the time, it won't be YOU sayin' it---yet, the "drive" will somehow involve you. And that is exactly what we are seeing here in the confrontation  between the owner Mark Luongo and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Mars is the ruler of the Full Moon in Aries and the mundane 6th house.

The 6th house rules “Illness and disease” as well as “pets, small animals”

Believe in the chart as Martha Wescott says and pieces of the puzzle keep adding up. The Sun [24li] on the Ascendant is conjunct the asteroids Lacrimosa [24li] (death and grieving) and Diana [29li] (animal).
