By 2017, when Klaus Schwab, the architect of the World Economic Forum’s globalist ambitions, openly boasted about how he had influenced the Canadian government, Trudeau and half his cabinet had become followers of the WEF’s Young Global Leaders program. For years, Trudeau’s reign had been the perfect model for the governance the WEF advocates: open borders, relentless carbon taxation, unwavering alignment with NATO’s proxy wars, and deference to corporate oligarchs at the expense of ordinary Canadians. The result? A fragmented country, a gutted energy sector, skyrocketing home prices, and the nation’s sovereignty systematically eroded by policies dictated by the boardrooms in Davos, not Ottawa. A borderless, debt-ridden, obedient nation: that was Canada.
The national horoscope of Canada is set for July 1, 1867; Ottawa. In this chart the progressed Sun [14sa] is beginning to complete a Grand Cross with Venus square the Nodes. For Venus in Hard Aspect to the South Node Steven Forrest identifies the affliction from the past as “the pain of heart break, unrequited longing, separation". What was left unresolved was a sense of being incomplete without another person. And the resolution lies in partnering successfully in the present with the one for whom one pined for.
The Sun reaching a square to the Nodes is the phenomenon known as “Moon Wobble” when “the instability factor is high and political and personal upheavals take place”. For Venus-Node in hard aspect to progressed Sun, from Ebertin we have “a disharmonious love union”
Recall that one of important aspects of 2024-25 is the Jupiter-Saturn square. Here is the chart for the second of the three squares on Dec. 24, drawn for Ottawa. Notice the significant placement of the square on the meridian. Not only that - the square triggers the Grand Cross discussed above.

People are seeing the results of a loss of perspective (and, in some people, that loss of perspective means that they inflated themselves or their possibilities, they--in a sense, "got carried away with it," refused to see some things--and now have to "pull in their horns" and deal with harsh realities . While a person may have great promise and/or self-confidence, they have to be self-responsible, practical, play by at least some of the rules, make the effort and not think (or act like) the "the world owes them a living." You may also see that people are being taken to task and must take full-responsibility for what they've done while they believed that "the world was their oyster."
Now Trump wants Canada to become the 51st state, to give life to a North American Union ( a “disharmonious union” being forced on Canada?) Perhaps it is not a matter of free choice and calculation of convenience but the acknowledgement of a strategic balance of power.
Finally, we note that Trump’s radix Sun [20ge] and Canada’s radix Venus [16ge] are both placed amid stars of Orion, the Conqueror or Hunter. For this area Diana Rosenberg has “arrogant use of violence (power?)”
