Mars stations in Punarvasu Nakshatra

As we can see from the image above Mars which has been retrograding since Dec 6 will reach its direct station on Feb 23 and is beginning to slow down in preparation for this momentous event. Halfway between these two dates the Sun made its opposition to Mars. The central meaning and dynamics of the cycle was discussed in Sun-Mars opposition: Explosive energy [1]

For those of us who are ready, the station on Feb. 23 can provide a welcome change. Why? Well one reason is that it takes place in Punarvasu Nakshatra [2].

Punarvasu [13cn - 27cn]

In Vedic astrology, Punarvasu Nakshatra signifies "renewal," "rejuvenation," and the ability to bounce back from challenges, representing a deep inner strength to restart, replenish, and grow after a period of setback, with a strong association to the themes of rebirth, expansion, and boundless potential, all governed by the planet Jupiter which embodies wisdom and optimism; essentially, it's the "star of renewal" signifying the power to start fresh and thrive through change.

But this will affect only those who having been responding positively to the challenges outlined in [1]. For those not prepared the opportunity simply passes creating new karma as explained in [3]
