In a “bombshell verdict” branded as a “fatal day for democracy” yesterday, this report notes, leading French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen was sentenced to 4 years of house arrest and banned from running for any political office after being convicted on the same exact charges radical socialist Prime Minister Bayrou was acquitted of last year—Le Pen, of course, was smeared with Russophobia lies and hoaxes, and she proclaimed after the unjust verdict: “The rule of law has been completely violated by the decision that was made...There are millions of French people this evening, who are outraged to an unimaginable degree”. The sign in which Pluto is located marks out generational themes of historical significance. It brings deep transformation and upheaval to matters associated with its sign placement. Since 2008 when Pluto shifted into Capricorn, we have seen misuse of power by governments and institutions and the resulting tremendous turmoil across the political and economic spectrum. With Pluto in Aquarius, we are now entering a new era of social revolution that will shake the foundations of the global community in new ways.
The last time that transformative Pluto moved through humanitarian Aquarius the people of France revolted against their dictatorial and extravagant monarchy and on 14 July, 1789 stormed the Bastille, starting the French Revolution. Mobs of people (Aquarius) projected their repressions (Pluto) back upon those in power. ‘Equality, Liberty and Fraternity’ was the Aquarian catch cry of the day. Now we are entering a period of human history where a similar cry for freedom and equality will echo across the globe.
As Pluto traverses Aquarius, it is opposed by the TNP Vulcanus in Leo and now by Mars as it re-enters Leo after its retrograde period. Leo is the place of powerful leaders in whom megalomania is rife, such as we saw erupt in 1939 at the start of WWII. But Aquarius is a collective sign, where groups and communities are the realm where Pluto’s process of rebirth acts. In order to attain equality and freedom, people are willing to stand up against leaders who they perceive as threatening their survival and free-expression. Groups and communities are set to rise up against entrenched political powers and institutions that have sought to control and manipulate the populace. What emerges is a striking and permanent shift in the balance of power.[1]
A hint of the upcoming struggle in France can be seen in at least two ways. First the Capsolar at Paris has the Mars-Vulcanus opposite Pluto aligned very significantly with the meridian. Second, Macron’s solar return progressed to March 31 has the same combination also aligned with the meridian.
With Mars transit opposite Pluto, we are contacting deep seated and often disguised forms of rage, passion, heat, energy, raw libido and ambition which needs to come to conscious awareness. Psychologically, it is necessary to expel the festering energy in order to become a more productive person. The impact of the opposition can explode the status quo and a total re-evaluation of the course of action necessary to reclaim personal power may be required. Macron is using this energy to act out the “dicatator” (Mars in Leo) by arresting Le Pen.
