To feel everything is not enlightenment - it is often the wound of never being protected.

Carl Jung (b. 26 July 1875) discussed the need for withdrawal from life for sensitive people in his essay "The Relations Between the Ego and the Unconscious" published in 1928. At this time his progressed Sun [24 Virgo] was aspecting his radix asteroids Panacea [22ge] - Amor [24ge] - TNP Zeus [25ge]
Martha Wescott provides the following defintions and interpretations:
PANACEA: What you believe it takes to find solutions, cures or remedies for problems (and not only those related to the health.)
ZEUS: Excitement; to incite; blood pressure
AMOR: Can you/ should you set boundaries or limits on what happens in the name of love?
Amor/Panacea/Zeus
I would be the first to grant you that UNCONDITIONAL LOVE SOLVES EVERYTHING... *B U T* this is the earth plane; this is a dimension in which people need boundaries. Not setting limits will leave folks open to overstimulation or potentially explosive situations.
At the time he wrote the essay, Carl Jung’s progressed Sun [24vi] was in Virgo linked to the Virgin which astrologers associate with purity. Here purity is associated with the need to return to one’s essence and for that withdrawal from others is often required.
In mythology, Virgo or Astraea, the goddess of justice, withdrew from mankind due to increasing corruption and moral decay as humanity progressed from the Golden Age to the Iron Age.
