New Moon: Independence to sculpt our new lives

A SCULPTOR AT WORK

The New Moon of July 25 lies in the midst of sidereal Cancer but conjoins the forefoot of the Great Bear, Ursa Major.

About this area of stars, Nick Fiorenza writes:

The forefoot of the Great Bear is marked by Talitha (Iota) and Kappa of Ursa Major.. These stars inspire us to become a caring and nurturing force for each other, a force that responsibility supports our emergence from darkness, dogma, and delusion, emergence from the limits and bounds created by our structured beliefs, a force that supports our reawakening to light, to live in freedom, in a greater fulfillment.

Also conjoining Talitha is a pulsar (APO 0823+26) in Cancer that provides a constant reminder to emerge from the psycho-emotional issues common to the collective consciousness of the group of people with whom we associate. For the less aware it may merely reinforce behavior driven from such consciousness, creating monotonous drone-like creatures of habit.

This lunar cycle inspires us to be independent and free thinkers rather than co-dependant followers of dogmatic belief structures of mass-consciousness or the groups we have been participating with that limit our ability to initiate creative action--action that supports the manifestation of our personal and collective fulfillment.

The New Moon is trine the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 1-2 Aries. This combination is about both sobering up around previous delusions and also no longer being certain what’s actually real anymore. And at the same time, it can also be a process of concretizing the abstract, of “giving form” to Neptune - bringing it down to earth.Saturn in Aries is a Saturn in fall, which looks like statues and edifices falling down (metaphorically rules and authorities that no longer resonate). Under Saturn in Aries, we’re not necessarily listening to the old rules and authority figures. Under Saturn in Aries, there are no gods, no masters. We are being asked to sculpt our new lives.

The Sabian symbol of the New Moon [2le08] is essentially saying the same thing.

Leo 3 (2° - 3°): Woman having her hair bobbed

REFUSAL TO CONFORM TO INAPPROPRIATE RULES

Some of society's constraints are life-denying and are to be resisted by those who claim freedom of expression https://www.jamesburgess.com/woman-having-her-hair-bobbed.html

Since Pluto [2aq36] is exactly opposite the New Moon, studying its Sabian symbol should convince us of what the New Moon requires of us.

Aquarius 3 (2° - 3°): A deserter from the navy

REFUSAL TO ACCEPT THE UNACCEPTABLE

Certain of society's constraints and requirements are simply inappropriate for us and we cannot, and must not, comply: "Refusing to comply with inappropriate authority"
