Delhi court orders round up of stray dogs

India's top court has ordered authorities in Delhi and its suburbs to move all stray dogs from streets to animal shelters. The court expressed concerns over rising "menace of dog bites leading to rabies" and gave an eight-week deadline to officials to finish the task.

The court directed that multiple shelters be established across Delhi and its suburbs, each capable of housing at least 5,000 dogs. These shelters should be equipped with sterilisation and vaccination facilities, as well as CCTV cameras.

Eclipses are significant astrological events often revealing what needs to be done. . At this blogsite, we have devoted several posts on the March 14 total lunar eclipse that fell very significantly on the meridian (Moon on 4th cusp) at Delhi, India. Aligned with the Ascendant [6cn] (conjunct Murzim, beta Canis Major) of the chart are the TNPs Hades [13cn] - Kronos [15cn] (Sirius, alpha Canis Major) opposite Cupido [9cp]. Canis Major is the constellation of the Greater Dog!

Dogs were domesticated from wolves roughly 20,000–40,000 years ago, as humans began forming settlements. Early dogs lived alongside humans, providing benefits like protection and companionship. With the rise of urbanization in the 19th and 20th centuries, human populations concentrated in cities, and pet ownership increased. However, not all dogs were kept as pets; many were abandoned due to economic hardship, changing family structures, or lack of responsibility.

Progressing the eclipse chart to August 11, the date of he court order was passed on August 11 once again aligns the eclipse axis with the meridian (Moon on 10th cusp) thereby triggering it in the form of an event. In the current context, the TNPs Kronos (laws) - Hades (rejects of society) combine to produce the court order about the strays.

The eclipse Sun is conjunct the North Node in Pisces while the eclipse Moon is conjunct the South Node in Virgo. Among other things this is about about the need for compassion (Pisces) toward those who serve us (Virgo), including domesticated animals and abandoned pets.

Virgo is associated with service, duty, and care for others, often in practical ways. This includes those who serve us—whether human workers, caregivers, or animals like pets who provide companionship and loyalty. The South Node in Virgo may indicate a past tendency to take these beings for granted or to approach them with a critical, utilitarian mindset (e.g. focusing only on their "usefulness").

The North Node in Pisces invites a shift toward unconditional love and empathy, recognizing the spiritual worth of all beings. This includes extending compassion to those who serve, such as workers, animals, or anyone in a supportive role. For abandoned pets, Pisces encourages seeing their suffering through a lens of universal love, fostering a desire to heal, nurture, or advocate for them without judgment or rigid expectations.

To resolve this tension, one must learn to integrate Virgo’s practical skills with Pisces’ emotional and spiritual wisdom. For instance, using Virgo’s organizational abilities to create systems that support compassionate acts (e.g., creating animal shelters or advocating for better treatment)

Finally here is Sabian for the TNP Cupido which is opposite Krnos-Hades

PHASE 280 (CAPRICORN 10°): AN ALBATROSS FEEDING FROM THE HAND OF A SAILOR.

KEYNOTE: The overcoming of fear and its rewards.

The man who radiates perfect harmlessness can call the wildest creatures to him and can establish with them a partnership based on mutual respect and understanding. Every living entity plays a role in the world's ritual of existence; beyond these specific roles, which too often separate one entity from another, the communion of love and compassion can bring together the most disparate lives.
