At that point, the convoy was less than 400 nautical miles away, with arrival projected for September 30 or October 1 depending on weather and sea conditions. Given the current date of October 1 and the roughly 1-2 day estimate from the latest reports, midday UTC aligns with the remaining distance at typical speeds of 8-10 knots for the civilian vessels. In this post we look at the implications of the upcoming Full Moon of October 7 at Gaza, where it falls very significantly exactly on the horizon axis.
The Full Moon rises at 14° Aries, illuminating themes of independence, self-expression, and courage. Full Moons mark culmination points, and this one reveals where you’ve been holding back your voice, your identity or diluting your desires. Aries reminds us that sometimes the bravest choice is simply to take the first step, even if the outcome isn’t certain.
The myths connected with the stars that a Full Moon conjoins symbolically tell us the issues involved. Here the Full Moon is conjunct the star Alpheratz in the constellation Andromeda - the Chained Woman.
Alpheratz is unadulterated, innocent, naive, uncorrupted by evil, wrongdoing or malice; and holds a position of extraordinary honor and advantage. This star often portends success and riches through social popularity and achievement. Placements with Alpheratz can also express as being caught in the power plays created by the arrogance or denials of others, or as naivete or vulnerability to the psycho-emotional entrapping forces of human life. Alpheratz asks us to get unentangled from the human psycho-emotional drama, to think for ourselves, or accept a sentence of bondage not rightfully ours.
Although the stage setting in which Andromeda is trapped (chained to rocks about to be devoured by Cetus) seems complex, there is a prerequisite for her freedom--an inner metamorphosis, an emotional maturing into the readiness to receive aid. Often time, we are ready to change only when in the chains of the human struggle. And our inner readiness precedes receiving support to change. Forceful attempts to break free before we are ready only tighten the chain of bondage. Here lies our need to break free from the human mold, from the genetic, cultural, and personal pattering forming our lives. Andromeda represents the struggle for freedom from the collective and tormenting forces of the psycho-emotional human world, to claim our true galactic birthright and evolutionary destiny. Alpheratz's fortuitous position ultimately brings success and reward in this worthy pursuit.
North of and conjoining Alpheratz is Alderamin (a) and Zeta Cepheus. Alderamin is the right shoulder of the King, father of Princess Andromeda, often portraying one in an authoritative position. Alderamin imparts a quality of authoritative responsibility. Alderamin can expresses as denial, avoidance, or turning ones head from dealing with the manipulative power plays causing our or other people’s entrapment.
The picture is so clear that it does not need any explanation in the current context. Chained Andromeda represents the citizens of Gaza City under occupation by the brutal forces of Israel. King Alderamin can be Netanyahoo or for that matter even Trump who has turned his face away. Alpheratz is a lucky star as can be seen from a previous post [1], but it requires courage on the part of Andromeda. Please look carefully of the star picture above. Alpheratz is both in the head of the Princess as well as the navel of the Flying Horse, Pegasus which lifts her above her troubles. And don’t forget to notice the hero and rescuer Perseus also in the image.
