‘U.S. Can’t Decide Alone’: Macron 'BEGS' Trump For Seat With Putin At Ukraine Talks In Budapest. 

At Budapest the chart for the October 21 New Moon is very significantly placed. It is the apex of a T-square with Jupiter-Pluto-New Moon that aligns with the horizon.

 

 

 Today's dominant story is the brewing Trump-Putin summit in Budapest, framed as a high-stakes diplomatic push to end the Ukraine war—but laced with intense debates over who gets a seat at the table (Libra New Moon :equity in decision-making) and who holds the power (Pluto)  (U.S.-Russia bilateralism vs. European/Ukrainian inclusion). 

Reports detail Trump's heated exchanges with Zelenskyy (e.g., "shouting and throwing maps" on Air Force One over Donbass concessions), underscoring Pollux-like rivalry. (Jupiter is conjunct Pollux). Jupiter opposite Pluto reminds us of failures that follow big projects undertaken without enough thought or backup. 

Pluto’s (subterranean) transformative power surges into visibility—Pluto's intensity in Budapest, symbolizing hidden power dynamics (e.g., U.S.-Russia backchannels) erupting into public view.

This appears to describe how the European leaders are behaving. They continue to deny the obvious realities of the dire situation in Ukraine, which will only worsen over time. Yet we see no evidence of any willingness to change course, despite the obvious political hazard they face and the increasingly grim forecast for Europe and for Ukraine should they continue to push an unwinnable war.
