The Disturbing True Meaning of Jack and the Beanstalk Buried for 5,000 Years https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bNex7dWfVU
The research referred to in his video is titled "Comparative phylogenetic analyses uncover the ancient roots of Indo-European folktales" by Jamshid J. Tehrani (Durham University, UK) and Sara Graça da Silva (New University of Lisbon, Portugal), used phylogenetic methods to trace folktale origins, including "Jack and the Beanstalk" to over 5,000 years ago. It was announced in press release on January 20, 2016 and published online in Journal (Place): Royal Society Open Science (London, UK)
"Jack and the Beanstalk" is not a modern invention but belongs to a family of tales ( "The Boy Steals the Ogre's Treasure") with origins dating back over 5,000 years. It likely emerged during the Bronze Age (around 3000–2000 BCE) in Europe or Western Asia. The story reflects ancient cultural anxieties and social dynamics:Underdog triumph: A poor, clever boy outwits a powerful giant — symbolizing class struggle, resource scarcity, or the victory of wit over brute force. Vertical ascent (beanstalk): Represents a journey between worlds (earth and sky), possibly tied to early beliefs in cosmology or shamanic travel. Theft and moral ambiguity: Jack steals from the giant, raising questions about justice and survival — themes that persist across cultures.
The tale’s core structure survived millennia, showing deep cultural continuity despite changes in details (e.g., magic beans, harp, golden eggs). In essence, "Jack and the Beanstalk" is an ancient parable of cunning, survival, and social mobility, rooted in prehistoric storytelling traditions.
In this blogpost we shall see how the March 9, 2016 solar eclipse (already active in January when the findings were published) contains the essence of the research findings. First for the stars conjunct the eclipse [18pi], Diana Rosenberg writes: “Generally peaceful and peace-loving, under desperate conditions they will stand and fight especially for freedom and human rights, and a few may be called upon to fight their fears and summon up the courage to stand up to tyranny,”
The eclipse is one arm of a T-square with Jupiter-Saturn that straddles the horizon. The Jupiter-Saturn waning square is part of the seed cycle that started in May 2000 with a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Taurus that was square Uranus in Aquarius
"Taurus rules tangible wealth. The conjunction here suggested a final 'peak' in material security before Uranus in Aquarius began dismantling centralized financial systems (foreshadowing Bitcoin, 2009)." — André Barbault, Planetary Cycles (French ed., 2000)
It is therefore quite appropriate that "Jack and the Beanstalk” story’s meaning is beginning to be truly understood at the solar eclipse. But that is not all. Notice that completing a T-square with the meridian is Uranus (Aries) square Pluto (Capricorn).
As a planet-sign pair, Uranus in Aries is a potent symbol for individual freedom. Pluto in Capricorn symbolizes the overwhelming power of large institutions, including governments, corporations, which are often unjust and serve the elites in power. Put simply, the Uranian archetype is revolutionary, regarding the status quo as something to be changed radically.
This is exactly what the researchers discovered about the hiddenmeaning in "Jack and the Beanstalk”
