The X post shows Trump signing the opening of the government on Nov 13, 2025; 3:21 am UTC. A chart for the event has a T-square straddling the meridian:

[Jupiter 25 cn 9 - Bienor 29 cn 1041" ] opposite Pluto [1aq]

This combination also straddles meridian in the Sibly lunar return for November (“hour” hand of cosmic clock)

Astrologically, Bienor is associated with themes of exuberance, expansion and liberalism. Along with Jupiter in Cancer it amplifies themes of nurturing, protection, and expansion within the home or nation. It suggests a focus on public welfare, and emotional security. Bienor's presence here enhances this with a push towards liberal policies.

Reinhold Ebertin’s description of Jupiter-Pluto as "Conflicts with authorities and the executors of governmental power. The misfortune to lose everything" is particularly apt. The Democrats' unyielding stand during the shutdown led to their loss of leverage and political capital, aligning with this negative manifestation. The opposition to Pluto's transformative energy in Aquarius exacerbated this, as it pushed for radical changes that clashed with the established order.

Martha Wescott adds:

It show you what happens when "power issues" (Pluto) or underhanded tactics get infused into their inherent "the good guy's here to help you" (Jupiter) basis. In the absence of utter integrity, efforts to seem or be Good can reek with hypocrisy. I want to say too, "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts," and scrutinize any Trojan Horses that are dragged to your door!

Jupiter in Cancer emphasizes nurturing, care, and expansion which can manifest as policies aimed at supporting vulnerable populations, including immigrants. However, this placement can also lead to overextension or misguided generosity, where the intent to care unconditionally might result in impractical or exploitable policies. And as Martha Wescott points out, the policy may have underhand power grab as a motive.

Jupiter is conjunct the star Procyon.

Procyon's Influence: Procyon's association with travel, journeys, and movement, particularly involving water and boundaries, ties directly to immigration and migration themes. Its presence with Jupiter in Cancer could amplify these tendencies, potentially leading to policies that are bold but risky, such as open-door immigration without sufficient safeguards.

The Democrats' refusal to compromise on certain demands, particularly regarding immigration funding, aligns with the impulsive and rash energy of Procyon conjunct Jupiter. Astrologically, Procyon is known for its association with bold, sometimes reckless actions that can lead to failure. The Democrats' strategy during the shutdown can be seen as a Procyon-influenced move—bold but ultimately unsuccessful, as they "lost everything" in terms of political advantage and public perception.

The event's astrological configuration suggests a karmic or fated quality, where the Democrats' actions (influenced by Procyon's rashness and Jupiter's expansion) clashed with the transformative pressures of Pluto, leading to a significant loss. This loss is not just political but symbolic of a broader shift in power dynamics within the government.

President Trump's signing of the continuing resolution, which ended the government shutdown without conceding to certain immigration funding demands, can be seen as Pluto's truth-loving energy intervening. This action halted the expansive but potentially misguided policies (Jupiter-Procyon) and enforced a more accountable and transformative approach (Pluto in Aquarius). His actions reflected a shift towards integrity and away from perceived excesses.

Here is Chuck Schumer’s (b. 23 Nov. 1950; 11:00 EST Manhattan,NY) upcoming solar return. With Jupiter/Pluto opposition aligned with the SR meridian it puts a stamp of confirmation on his personal defeat for going overboard!

“Under Pluto and Jupiter, faith is embattled. Perhaps someone has gone down a road for the wrong reasons… Comforting but phony elements of your life must be released and new possibilities seized under less than auspicious circumstances.” Steven Forrest
