US 'In Trouble' - Ford CEO Can't Find 5,000 Mechanics

Thrashing Tail Of Cetus - the Sea-Monster

Ford Motor Company CEO Jim Farley has sounded an alarm about the state of the US job market, saying Ford has been unable to fill 5,000 mechanic jobs paying $120,000 a year. Those $120,000 salaries are nearly double the US average.

“We are in trouble in our country. We are not talking about this enough,” said Farley in an appearance last week on the Office Hours: Business Edition podcast. He said the shortage of qualified manual laborers isn't confined to Ford, but is something businesses across the nation are struggling with.

The remarks were made during an interview for the Office Hours: Business Edition podcast (Episode 3), recorded at Ford's headquarters. In this post we shall see how the Jupiter station [25cn] on November 11-12. conjunct the last Cancer Ingress of Sun (precession corrected) drawn for Washington DC has activated it.

The Sabians for the Sun - Ascendant (and their mid) are:

25-26 deg Cancer: Guests Are Reading In The Library Of A Luxurious Home

26-27 deg Cancer: A Violent Storm in A Canyon Filled With Expensive Homes

27-28 deg Cancer An Indian Girl Introduces Her White Lover To Her Assembled Tribe

Asteroids on the Cancer Ascendant: Dionysus 27° Cancer, Eurydice 28° Cancer. Martha Lang-Wescott’s delineation is brutal in context: Dionysus–Eurydice: “Folks are apt to find that they are dependent on others who are ‘out of it’ at the very time they’re needed or counted on.”

The Ascendant (national face) is dependent on a workforce that is either checked out, re-skilled elsewhere, or mythologized out of existence.

And of course Saturn-Neptune (conjunct Deneb Kaitos) Dissolution of Illusions & Reality Checks. Opportunity to rebuild after dissolution; Aries ignites courage for fresh starts, but requires discipline to avoid impulsivity.

About Deneb Kaitos:

Bernadette Brady: “The tail that lashes the sea—collective emotional turbulence that drowns the individual who cannot rise above it.”

Diana Rosenberg: “Catastrophic upheavals, ...the place where the monster’s tail smashes the old order.”

Deneb Kaitos is not a gentle star. It is the thrashing tail of Cetus, the archetypal sea-monster that devours what refuses to evolve. When activated by slow, structural planets (Saturn, Neptune) it signals systemic breakdown through liquid chaos—literal (supply-chain “floods”) or psycho-emotional (mass disillusionment, panic selling, labor strikes).

Synthesis: The Cetus Tail Meets the Empty Garage

Jupiter Rx on Sun (25° Cancer) → “Look at the wound in the homeland.”

Pluto on Descendant (25° Capricorn) → “The partner you offshored has become your master.”

Saturn–Neptune on Deneb Kaitos (1°–2° Aries) → “The tail smashes the illusion that labor is fungible.”

Dionysus–Eurydice on Ascendant → “The workers you need are drunk, gone, or both.”

The rich shareholders are indeed being thrashed by Cetus: Emotional turbulence = investor panic as margins shrink. Bureaucratic dramatics = OSHA fines, UAW (IUnited Automobile Workes) demands, EV recall tsunamis.

Inability to rise above = still lobbying for H-1B visas while vocational-technical education rots.

The Aries Ignition: (Post-Dissolution) Saturn–Neptune in Aries is not just collapse—it is collapse with a blueprint. After the tail smashes the canyon homes (Sabian storm), the fresh start is: Federal vo-tech mandates (Saturn structure). Debt-financed re-skilling (Neptune oil money → green apprenticeships).Corporate–union marriages (the Indian girl & white lover, now literal).

But Deneb Kaitos demands sacrifice: someone’s quarterly bonus, someone’s offshore tax haven, someone’s ego. The monster’s tail does not negotiate. Bottom line: The chart is a national exorcism. The Dionysian workforce has slipped into the underworld; the Cetus tail is thrashing the boardroom that sent them there. Saturn–Neptune on Deneb Kaitos is the wet demolition before the Aries forge can re-cast the American mechanic as a $120 k priest of torque. The storm is not punishment—it is initiation.

The illusion (Neptune) that “we can offshore every wrench and still build trucks” meets the reality check (Saturn) of empty service bays. The conjunction in Aries says: “Dissolve the fantasy, then rebuild with muscle.”. But the star warns: first comes the thrashing!!
