Russian President Vladimir Putin visited India on December 4-5, 2025, for a two-day summit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi—the first such trip since Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine. The leaders signed multiple agreements, including a 2030 economic cooperation program targeting $100 billion in annual bilateral trade, deals on critical minerals and supply chains, shipbuilding, civil nuclear energy, visa-free travel, agriculture, labor mobility (facilitating more Indian workers in Russia), and energy sector ties.
In this blogpost we look at the chart of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to understand how such a major political shift has occurred under his watch . Perhaps the most significant mundane event contributing to this seismic change was the March 14, 2025 lunar eclipse [23vi56] that fell exactly on Modi’s Sun [23vi45].
Just a few days before Putin’s visit, Saturn [25pi09] stationed direct on November 28 right on top of Modi’s radix Sun and the eclipse stellium on the MC activating the eclipse.
This is a very potent activation. Saturn stationing direct exactly on the eclipse degree (and on the MC for central India no less) is one of the strongest possible “trigger” signatures we can get for a lunar eclipse. When Saturn stations on an eclipse point it tends to crystallize, solidify, and make publicly visible whatever that eclipse was “seeding.” In mundane astrology this often shows up as the moment when the consequences or the restructuring demanded by the eclipse become undeniable and structural.Let’s weave the symbols and the additional factors together.

Moon on Virgo 24° → “Mary and her little lamb” (nurturing, service, purity, but also co-dependence)
The core eclipse story is the tension between collective/emotional enmeshment (Pisces Sun) and the need for practical boundaries, discrimination and self-containment (Virgo Moon). Classic eclipse theme: where have we been sacrificing or dissolving our individual needs inside a group, nation, family, ideology or relationship?
Saturn stations direct at 25°09 Pisces (29 Nov 2025): Sabian: “Watching the very thin moon crescent… different people realize the time has come to go ahead with their different projects.”
This is an extremely separative and individuating symbol. After a long period of collective dreaming/confusion/sacrifice (Saturn retrograde in Pisces since June 2025), the station says: “Now we see the first light of a new personal cycle; it’s time to act on our own vision, even if it means going separate ways.”
Saturn here acts as the great boundary-setter and reality-checker on the eclipse’s Piscean dissolution.
Therefore, one of the clearest manifestations is people (and nations, political parties, couples, business partners) finally admitting that the shared dream or the forced togetherness is no longer sustainable and quietly (or not so quietly) starting to walk their own paths. The “small island” can no longer contain everyone’s different projects.Venus 29°59 Scorpio opposite Uranus 29°59 Taurus (exact 29–30 Nov 2025)
Both at the absolute final, anaretic degree — this is pure “sudden rupture” energy in financial and relational matters. Venus in Scorpio is already intense, possessive, merged resources, sexual/financial bonds that feel like life-or-death. Uranus opposite at 29 Taurus detonates those bonds — break-ups, financial shocks, sudden repossession of what was “shared,” women walking away from controlling situations, cryptocurrency or banking surprises, etc.
Because it happens only hours/days after Saturn’s station, it will feel like the first concrete, dramatic expression of the Saturn-eclipse boundary-setting.
Putting it all together for India (and anywhere the eclipse was angular):A long-brewing realization (since the 14 Mar 2025 eclipse) that certain alliances, coalitions, federal compromises, or emotional/financial entanglements are no longer viable is reaching critical mass right now (late November 2025 - early December 2025) .
Saturn’s station on the MC makes it public, structural and impossible to ignore — government resignations, coalition breaks, states asserting more autonomy, or a major policy that draws a new boundary are all possible. On the collective psychic level many individuals will feel “I can’t stay in this arriage/job/ideology any longer — my own path is calling.”
In short: the March 2025 lunar eclipse planted the seed of necessary separation within a previous state of enmeshment. Saturn’s station direct on the eclipse degree + MC is the moment the seed cracks open and new, individual green shoots push through the soil in different directions. Venus–Uranus on the anaretic degree is the lightning strike that makes it impossible to pretend everyone is still on the same small island.Very separative few days ahead, especially for India and any entity strongly hit by the March eclipse.
In the US Sibly, Saturn station has occurred opposite its radix Neptune [22vi] so that we are beginning to see Trump withdrawing from the Ukraine war and NATO/EU partners who are going their separate ways.
