narrowing of options, or situations where planned changes are stalled because other elements haven't aligned yet. Combined with Uranus (sudden disruption, rebellion, innovation, or shocks), it creates tension between a
desire for radical or unexpected change and real-world resistance or complications that prevent smooth execution.
Square to the Nodes: This adds a karmic or fated crossroads flavor — choices between past patterns (South Node) and future growth (North Node) feel particularly strained or "stuck." It can manifest as resistance to necessary evolution, or external events forcing a reevaluation amid obstacles.

Thuban (Arabic for "serpent" or "dragon") is the alpha star of the constellation Draco. Astronomically, it served as Earth's North Pole Star from roughly 3942 BCE
to 1793 BCE — peaking around 2830–2700 BCE — due to the precession of the equinoxes. Ancient Egyptians aligned structures (including aspects of the pyramids) toward it when it marked true north more precisely
than modern Polaris does today. It is a relatively faint white giant star (magnitude ~3.65–3.7), currently around 7°–8° Virgo in tropical longitude for the 2020s.
Nick Fiorenza writes:
“Thuban of Draco, in the far northern heavens, just north of Alioth of the Great Bear, was Earth’s pole star circa 2800 BCE, a point in Earth’s ~25,000-year “evolutionary
cycle of the soul” at which time a turning and fractioning occurred in the hierarchical powers governing Earth. This dramatized the separation between those choosing to fight for a greater evolutionary vision and those
wanting to maintain totalitarian control of the Earth”.
Fiorenza sees this as dramatizing shifts in who governs Earth's resources, with echoes of moving away from concentrated elite dominance toward broader distribution or a "new order."
