The press materials described explosive force and extreme high-energy flows extending far beyond the host galaxy.
The quasar itself sits at approximately 18° Aquarius. Diana Rosenberg’s degree notes for the 18–20° Aquarius span include “extreme high winds.” The Sabian Symbol for Aquarius 19° is traditionally rendered as “A forest fire quenched” (or close variants emphasizing a forest fire and the struggle to contain intense energy). Opposite this degree, the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026 falls at 20° Leo—almost exactly opposing the quasar’s longitude.
The announcement itself landed near the Full Moon of 29 July 2026. An event chart cast for that lunation at Tohoku University’s coordinates (Katahira Campus, Sendai) showed the Sun–Jupiter conjunction in early Leo tightly opposing the Moon–Pluto in early Aquarius, with the opposition axis aligned to the local meridian. Rosenberg’s notes for the early Leo area speak of “intense high energies, explosions.” The Descendant of that same chart fell near 25° Scorpio, a span she associates with “fires (some huge conflagrations), explosions… high winds.”
Within days, large wildfires erupted or intensified across western North America. The Bald Range fire west of Summerland, British Columbia—first reported around 17:30 PDT on 7 August 2026 (00:30 UT on 8 August)—forced the evacuation of more than 20,000 people and prompted a provincial state of emergency. A chart for that approximate ignition time and location (near 49°36′ N, 119°41′ W) places the Ascendant in late Sagittarius among the stars in the flames of Ara, a placement Rosenberg links on mundane charts to catastrophes and warnings of evacuations. An eclipse chart cast for the same British Columbia coordinates shows further resonance: the solar eclipse at 20° Leo in a degree Rosenberg associates with fires; Saturn near the 7th cusp in a fire-related degree; Kronos–Hades on the Midheaven near Sirius (“danger of fires”); and the IC in a span linked to intense energy and fires. Saturn had stationed retrograde in mid-Aries in late July, forming hard aspects in the classic Sibly chart of the United States that touch themes of land, forests, and collective crisis.
Taken individually, any single correspondence can be dismissed as coincidence. Viewed together—the black-hole “blast” and high-energy winds announced under a Jupiter–Pluto Full Moon, the quasar’s placement opposite an eclipse degree whose Sabian image is a forest fire, the same degree areas lighting up the angles of charts for major wildfires that forced mass evacuations—the pattern is harder to ignore. Degree symbolism, fixed-star lore, and the angles of place appear to be speaking a consistent language of extreme energetic release, both cosmic and terrestrial.
Whether these alignments merely describe or in some way participate in the events remains an open question. What is clear is that the sky of late July and early August 2026 offered a remarkably coherent symbolic commentary on power, wind, fire, and the struggle to contain forces that travel far beyond their point of origin.
