Protection helps wildlife recover in Europe

Great Bear is a symbol of protection and nurturance

Some of Europe's key animals have made a comeback over the past 50 years, a report suggests. Conservationists say species such as bears, wolves, lynx, eagles and vultures have increased in numbers. They believe that protection, curbs on hunting and people moving away from rural areas and into cities have helped Europe's wildlife to recover. The analysis was carried out by the Zoological Society of London, Birdlife and the European Bird Census Council. BBC 26 Sept.

As regular readers are aware eclipses become active at least three months prior to their date of occurrence. We will see here that the chart for the  upcoming lunar eclipse of 18 October at London contains clues in the  star lore that tell us why this is happening now. Notice that the eclipse falls  prominently on the meridian axis. An exalted Jupiter in Cancer  in the twelfth house squares the eclipse axis. Jupiter is often associated with expansion or growth [1] while Cancer as a sign is associated with protection and caring.[2] The twelfth house is associated with wild animals [3].  So essentially, the eclipse is telling us that we are seeing the expansion or growth in wild animal numbers because of the protection that has been provided. The theme of the eclipse is always supported by  the stars that appear on the angles or form the backdrop to important planets.

The Ascendant [12le32] is conjunct Kochab [13le30]  of the Little Bear (Ursa Minor) and Dubhe [15le22], of the Great Mother Bear (Ursa Major).  Diana Rosenberg associates this area with issues relating to the protection of children, animals and the environment [4].
