A European robot probe has made the first, historic
landing on a comet. The "first" landing on Comet
67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko was confirmed at about 1605 GMT. There were cheers
and hugs at the European Space Agency (Esa) mission control in Darmstadt , Germany ,
after the signal came through. BBC. http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-30026398
A comet is an icy
small Solar System body that, when passing close to the Sun, heats up and
begins to outgas, displaying a visible atmosphere or coma, and sometimes also a
tail. These phenomena are due to the effects of solar radiation and the solar
wind upon the nucleus of the comet. Comet nuclei range from a few hundred
metres to tens of kilometres across and are composed of loose collections of
ice, dust, and small rocky particles.

To
understand this news we look at the chart for the last solar eclipse of October
23 at Darmstadt , Germany . The eclipse places a T-square involving
Uranus-Pluto on the meridian axis. As we have seen in the past, this
combination is known for scientific and technological breakthroughs. On the IC with
Mercury are the stars of the Virgin’s wing, the Crow’s wing and China ’s Great
Red Bird all combining with tropical Libra’s element of air. Diana Rosenberg
links this area to astronomy, navigation, aviation and space and therefore gives rise to “air and space events”.
The eclipse
[0sc] is conjunct Miaplacidus [2sc],
beta star of the Celestial Ship Argo (doesn’t
that sound like the space probe or even the Comet!). The TNP Apollon [29li]
that is associated with ‘science,
expansion and growth’ is also here and makes a fairly sharp quincunx aspect
to the TNP Admetus (rock and ice).
A
confirmation that this eclipse is indeed a major ‘cause’ of the event can be
seen if we progress the eclipse chart to Nov. 12, the date of the event, to
find the eclipse align with the meridian axis. On the MC [1ta42] is the star
Mira, omicron Ceti. This is a red giant star with a tail like a comet extending trillions of miles! [1]

P.S.
On the IC [11li] of the eclipse chart are the
asteroids Photographica [11li] and Odysseus [13li]…Photographs or images (Photographica)
form a journey far away (Odysseus).
