Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is meeting his
Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif after landing in the Pakistani city of
Lahore on a surprise visit. Mr Modi was on his way back to India from
Afghanistan when he stopped off. The visit coincides with the Pakistani prime
minister's birthday. Mr Modi is the first Indian PM to visit Pakistan since
2004. Tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours have been high in
recent years but relations have begun to warm. Dec. 25 http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-35178594
The surprise
meeting between the two prime ministers comes at today’s Full Moon. All lunar
phases need to be referred back to the New Moon stars. In the dark of the New
Moon, a seed is planted which, if
everything goes right, is completely illuminated at the Full Moon. The current New Moon was conjunct the star alpha (α) Ophiuchus, Ras
Alhague, in the head of the Snake Charmer or healer. Ophiuchus is also referred
to as the medicine man. Its stars are connected with healing, mending,
restoring or revivifying people or
situations that have declined or deteriorated in any way.
The Full Moon[3cn]
is conjunct the star Tejat, mu Geminorum
[5cn] of the Twins who are often shown fighting (notice the bow and arrows in Castor's hand
and the club in Pollux's) but hugging
each other too! Also here is theta Columbae [3cn] of the peaceful dove.
With Columba here, there are “hawks and doves” issues – whether to fight or
back down and make peace. Obviously it appears that in this case the PMs have
chosen peace!
In addition Uranus
stations direct a few hours after Full
Moon, contributing to the Full Moon realizations, impelling progressive
innovative change and a break from the
conformity of the past.
Finally, we
notice that the Full Moon trines Neptune on the MC which itself squares
Saturn. A positive manifestation of Saturn-Neptune is the softening (Neptune) of
rigid (Saturn) positions. Notice that
India’s progressed solar return chart ( Jan 26, 2015) for December 25 also brings the Saturn-Neptune square prominently to the meridian axis. Let
us remember that the cosmos is a vast clock – wheels within wheels within
wheels. Any event is essentially a point in time where several wheels meet.
