Astrology of the Indonesia Tsunami

Cetus – the Sea-Monster

More than 220 people have been killed and 843 injured after a tsunami hit coastal towns on Indonesia's Sunda Strait, government officials say. The tsunami waves struck at night without any warning, destroying hundreds of buildings. Officials say the tsunami could have been caused by undersea landslides after Anak Krakatau volcano erupted. The Sunda Strait, between the islands of Java and Sumatra, connects the Java Sea to the Indian Ocean. The disaster management agency has warned people to stay away from the coastline due to fears of another tsunami. Saturday's tsunami struck at about 21:30 local time (14:30GMT), during a local holiday. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-46663158

H.S. Green’s book on Mundane Astrology written around WWI is still considered a bible of sorts amongst astrologers. In the chapter on “Earthquakes”, he writes:

Earthquakes are found to be associated with eclipses and important planetary conjunctions and oppositions. An eclipse is always liable to cause seismic disturbances where it is visible, especially if it falls very close to the line of horizon i.e. the cusps of the first and seventh houses, or of the meridian i.e. the cusps of the tenth and fourth houses. Of these two lines, that of the meridian is more important; and that of the lower meridian i.e. the cusp of the fourth house is the most important of all. H.S.Green, Mundane or National Astrology

Eclipses become active at least three months before their actual occurrence and are often triggered by New Moons or Full Moons just prior to the eclipse. The Total Lunar Eclipse of January 21, 2019 at Pandeglang, Indonesia falls exactly on the meridian so that a major seismic disturbance occurred as expected at the December Full Moon.

Among stars on the Ascendant are those of Cetus, the constellation of the sea-monster. Diana Rosenberg writes:

Manilius described the rushing Sea-Monster driving huge waves before him, pushing the sea onto the land while “even the mountains shudder:” a 23 foot quake-caused tsunami hit Papua, New Guinea in 1998 killing  3000, and the 1946 Hilo Bay tsunami that hit Hawaii killing 146, both occurred under these stars, as did the great Johnstown, PA flood of 1889 when a dam collapsed, killing 2200. This was Venus at a 1333 Solar Eclipse that ran a path of totality through Italy, 6 months before a terrible flood devastated Florence, the MC at Grimsvotn at the Sept. 1996 Lunar Eclipse that preceded a volcanic eruption of deep chasm calderas under Vatnajokull Glacier, Iceland, weeks later ascending meltwater lifted the 800 ft thick lid of ice – the violent flood moved massive 1000 ton, 30 ft blocks of ice several miles. This was the South Node at the stupendous 1883 eruption of Krakatau in which more than 36000 were killed and many others.
