Hard (Br)exit: Theresa May gets stuck in car

To the magus, there exists no accidental happening…everything is established solidly by that law which the wise man discerns in happenings that appear accidental to the profane. The curve observed in the flight of birds, the barking of a dog, the shape of a cloud, are occult manifestations of that omnipresent, coordinator, the source of unity and harmony - Karl  Seligmann

Britain’s prime minister concedes Parliament won’t approve her Brexit plan without changes. The European Union says no changes are possible. So what’s a politician to do? Play with words. A day after Prime Minister Theresa May canceled a Brexit vote she was sure to lose, leaders on both sides of the Channel sought Tuesday to salvage their deal. European leaders made clear they would not accept changes to the plan: “There is no room whatsoever for renegotiation,” said European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker. WP
Theresa May just can’t catch a break. In the midst of the latest Brexit debacle, the simple act of opening a car door proved too taxing for the UK prime minister. May is in Berlin for talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel and was attempting to meet the German leader when she came up against a pesky car door and found herself desperately attempting to make an exit, much like her current Brexit negotiations with the EU. https://www.rt.com/uk/446170-theresa-may-car-stuck/

The worldview underlying astrology sees all of reality as symbolic in nature. To the symbolist, the heavenly bodies are threads within a great tapestry of affinities and correspondences. Elwell has defined the term multicongruence as  the tendency for certain things and conditions to co-occur because they belong together at a higher, unmanifest level.  The writer of the  RT news article may not have realized it but he/she is on to something very significant. The stuck “car door” and the stuck Brexit talks are deeply connected as we shall see here.

Shown here is the Theresa May’s  (born Oct 1, 1956) noon chart. Mercury has recently stationed direct on her radix Saturn which is part of a T-square involving Saturn-Pluto-Kronos. This combination can be interpreted as “leaders having a hard time” . This is further aggravated by the fact that the TNP Admetus (feeling stuck) is transiting conjunct Kronos and opposite her radix Saturn. The table below gives Theresa May’s planets TNPs and asteroid in a 90 degree sort.

Kronos

Saturn
29 sc 9'16"

Pluto-Charon

Phaethon

What do we have here? The asteroid Phaethon is part of the T-square. Martha Wescott [1] defines Phaethon and Admetus as below:

PHAETHON: Instances that involve cars, transport, driving; other forms of recklessness—feeling out of control—as though you’ve taken on more than you can handle; having trouble keeping to the middle of the road!

ADMETUS: Facing blockages; biding your time; encountering delays, frustrations, complications or the need for something else to happen BEFORE success or progress.

So is it at all surprising that she was stuck in a car!

But let us go a little further and draw a chart at Berlin for Mercury station direct on December 6. Notice that the chart has a Mercury-Admetus opposition square the horizon axis. Mercury rules both “cars” as well as “talks and negotiations” [2] and of course Admetus is the feeling of being stuck. Progress the chart to December 11 and we find the Mercury-Admetus opposition aligned with the meridian and thereby triggered.
