Ten
people including a baby have died in a fire at an eight-storey building in
south-western Paris, fire service officials say. More than 30 people -
including six firefighters - were injured. One person is in a serious
condition. Fifty people were evacuated by ladders from the blaze in the
upmarket 16th arrondissement. The Paris prosecutor says it may have been
deliberately started. Police have detained a female suspect. An eyewitness at
the scene told France Télévision: "The fire alarm went off at 00:30am a
little after midnight, and smoke was everywhere already. I live on the 8th
floor, the top floor, so I tried to pass from balcony to balcony to get away,
And then, we huddled up in a corner, other people climbed up to where I was to

The worldview underlying astrology sees all of reality as
symbolic in nature. To the symbolist, the heavenly bodies are threads within a
great tapestry of affinities and correspondences. Elwell has defined the term
multicongruence as the tendency for
certain things and conditions to co-occur because they belong together at a
higher, unmanifest level.
In a previous post Astrology
of the French Unrest [1] , I wrote about the long duration Pluto transit
to the radix Moon in the French National chart causing an outpouring of
anger/rage - a kind of fire.
In France’s national
chart the most powerful current direction is Pluto transiting through the 10th
house opposite the Moon [21cn] in the 4th square the Ascendant (or cusp of 1st
house). An opposition from the 10th to the 4th is then simply interpreted as
the public vs the government. With Pluto involved we are seeing an outpouring
of anger/rage [6] from the public (Moon).
In the last couple of days transit Mars [21ar] and Pluto
[21cp] formed a sharp square with Mars conjoining the Ascendant and square the
Moon [21cn] of the French chart once again triggering the same combination but this
time leading to an actual fire (Mars in Aries) started by a woman (Moon)!
Here is the chart for the reported time when the fire alarm
went off. Notice the Mars-Uranus-Pluto square straddling the horizon – a very
significant axis in mundane astrology. Moreover, Uranus is conjunct the stars
of Cepheus. Cepheus was called “inflammatus” by the Romans and linked
to fires.
PS:
As
Mars in Aries begins the process of weaving Uranus and Pluto together by
first making a square to Pluto we are in an explosive moment, a moment of
upheaval, power, force, and reckoning. We will be wise to avoid all
"unnecessary" confrontations, power struggles, or reckless choices,
while also making the bravest decisions we can, the decisions most likely to
create the breakthrough we know we need.
