Astrology of the Israel election

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could face more corruption charges after new details of his role in the so-called submarine affair emerged. The submarine affair – often known as Case 3000 – refers to a series of allegations against close associates of Netanyahu, who it is claimed lobbied Israeli defence officials to sign a deal with German firm ThyssenKrupp. The associates are also believed to have “skimmed” the deal, keeping huge sums of the multi-billion-shekel deals for themselves. https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/20190322-israels-netanyahu-could-face-new-corruption-charge-in-submarine-affair/

In mundane astrology, the cardinal ingresses of the Sun have a traditional reputation as important mundane event. Of these the Capricorn Ingress chart is considered by many astrologers to be the most important and often referred to as the Annual Chart.  The chart for the  Capricorn Ingress at Tel Aviv is shown here.  As always configurations aligned with the angles are the ones to focus on. Here we have the TNPs Kronos-Hades on the MC opposite Saturn on the IC.

Kronos – Hades: to recognize humiliation through loss of position or authority; to note disgust with government or leadership.

Saturn – Kronos : Leaders are held accountable or face consequences.

Elections for the twenty-first Knesset will be held on 9 April 2019. Progressing the ingress chart to 9 April brings the opposition to an alignment with the horizon thereby triggering it.

What can we expect? The leadership including Netanyahu may be humiliated. Does it mean that Netanyahu will lose his position? We can’t say for sure…but it is likely.

A further confirmation comes from the lunar return chart for Israel (14 May 1948 4:15 pm). Notice that this too has Kronos-Hades on the MC opposite Saturn accompanied by Pluto on the IC.

PS:

In a previous post entitled Is astrology predictive? [1], I explained why astrologers cannot see the future.  Astrology deals with potentialities — even of events. For any astrological configuration might refer to a great variety of actual facts. Astrology deals with potentiality of meanings; it is the art of giving valid meanings to planetary combinations that come up in the course of analysis.
Let us go back to the essential combination we wrongly interpreted as a loss of election for Netanyahu.

Kronos – Hades: to recognize humiliation through loss of position or authority; to note disgust with government or leadership.
Saturn – Kronos : Leaders are held accountable or face consequences.

Since symbols can be interpreted in various ways, here is another possible meaning.

A leader is elected who is known to be corrupt and who is subsequently held accountable and is thereby humiliated and loses his position.

For students of astrology that is another valid interpretation of the same symbols.

Here is a piece from the Israeli paper Haaretz dt. (10 April 19)

Israel’s Justice Ministry is still mulling whether or not to file a criminal indictment against Netanyahu in three corruption cases…Israel's attorney-general announced on Feb. 28 he intended to indict Netanyahu for bribery, fraud and breach of trust, though the actual filing of the charges would depend on the outcome of a required hearing. The hearing, the ministry said, will take place no later than July 10

If the corruption charges are brought up,  Netanyahu’s victory may still turn out to be a pyrrhic victory.

And this news just coming isn’t too good for Netanyahu.

Avigdor Lieberman, Israel's former defence minister and head of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, announced he will back Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud Party, but not before the prime minister vows to end the ceasefire with Hamas and pledges to approve a plan to liquidate the movement, according to sources within the party cited by The Daily Sabah. Lieberman has taken advantage of the similar number of seats won by Likud and its main rival, the Blue and White alliance led by ex-military chief Benny Gantz, Asharq Al-Awsat reports. Yisrael Beiteinu's support would allow Netanyahu to form a simple majority coalition in order to take control of the Knesset and secure President Rivlin's approval of his candidacy as next Prime Minister. Lieberman also reportedly warned Netanyahu of a "serious crisis" if the prime minister decided to reject his demand. Following his announcement, the former defence minister reportedly left Israel for a long private trip to an unnamed Eastern European country. https://sptnkne.ws/mjsp
