Corvus is the Latin
name for both the raven and the crow and these two birds are usually paired
together in mythology. From the same family, their obvious intelligence and
ingenuity, as well as their distinctive caw, has given them a widespread
association with trickery, storytelling, the relaying of messages, and the
serving of self-interest. But the colour of their plumage has also drawn a
universal connection with malevolence, sinister forces, and ominous warnings.

Saturn transits are a “reality check”. Often we can go no
further without admitting the truth. Radix Saturn in the 10th is also referring
to leaders in government. For more than two years U.S. politicians, the media
and some bloggers hyped a conspiracy theory. They claimed that Russia had
somehow colluded with the Trump campaign to get him elected. Huge
investigations were launched. Finally the conspiracy theory has run out of steam.
The table below gives the transits of Saturn to its radix
position. Notice that it lasts for almost the entire year with its retrograde
beginning on Apr. 29. Saturn retrograde wants
us to own the current vibration of our lives, and to know that in some way, our
ego, our thoughts, and our soul has had a hand in creating whatever has
transpired.

Saturn wants us to take a long hard look at ourselves. It
wants us to stop projecting or judging others, and instead take ownership of
our energy and our choices, and see how they may have contributed to the shape
of our lives.
Till the media remains in denial, Saturn’s pressure will be
on!
