Understanding the India-US synastry

The top US diplomat has landed in New Delhi, aiming to pressure the Indian government into rejecting Russian S-400 air defense systems and China’s Huawei mobile tech in favor of “better” military and trade deals with Washington. Expanding cooperation in energy, aviation, space, and defense fields will top Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's agenda during his three-day visit to India, the State Department said just as their boss landed in New Delhi on Tuesday evening.

Pompeo is expected to pressure India into compliance on a number of issues, including the S-400 missile defense deal with Russia, the purchase of Iranian and Venezuelan crude oil, and limiting Huawei's access to the massive South Asian market that Washington is now keen to capture.

Synastry is the art of relationship Astrology. It is a fascinating and illuminating study of how individuals or groups interact with one another. No matter how hard we try we cannot get away from the issues that our relationship charts bring up. At any point in time progressed interchart  aspects between two entities can illuminate the issues involved in the interaction.

Table 1 lists India’s progressed aspects to Sibly radix while Table 2 is Sibly progressed to India’s radix.

 Sibly -  4 Jul 1776 NS, 5:10 pm, LMT +5:00:39;  Philadelphia Pa.

*** END REPORT ***

Before we get into interpreting the data, let us recall what I have repeatedly mentioned on this blog site. The outcome of the interaction of horoscope elements is  dependant on how we exercise our free-will.  It may be constrained or conditioned by the planets but it is not decided by them.
So let us see the possibilities.

Coercion and manipulation (Pluto) to trap (Arachne) someone to do something bad or that which  is not in their best interest (Hades).

The asteroid Atropos [1]  is about endings or how things end. If we combine Atropos with the statement above we have two possibilities. Either endings take place because one refuses to be manipulated or the other extreme OR at the end one gives in to this manipulation. So then what is the deciding factor. One’s integrity. India claims that it will not compromise on its basic principles and long term interest. But is that only for the media or does it mean it? We are going to find out soon.

Table 2  has the Sibly progressed Ascendant conjoining India’s radix Saturn-Pluto.

Applying force and compulsion..putting someone in cumbersome or difficult circumstances.

The  Saturn-Pluto dynamic represents some of most serious and intense energies that one can experience.  Martha Wescott describes the interaction thus:

To have to deal with hidden weaknessnes or fears; to deal with fears of being manipulated or over-powered; moments of understanding the unconscious or manipulative influence of authority figures – and the need to free oneself from their power.

Notice that the asteroid Proserpina conjoins Saturn-Pluto. This asteroid  is delineated by Martha Wescott at her website [1].

PROSERPINA: Separation anxiety; leaving; going away; what you believe will happen if “mother's not there to take care of you;” the conditions you attract as you approach a transition or separation.

How appropriate when we combine Proserpina with our understanding of Saturn-Pluto. Is this the fear India needs to address?
