“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”

have described horrific scenes after a father from Perth was brutally mauled to
death by his own dog. Police were called to a property on Halvorson Rd in
Morley just after 8pm on Monday (Sep.7) where they found Dave Whitney, 59, with
life-threatening injuries. Mr Whitney died at the scene despite efforts from
responding officers. It's understood he had been in an argument with his
roommate, 36-year-old Brody Gardner in the moments before the dog attack. https://bit.ly/3bHyGkH

Pope
Francis has touted life’s joys such as a delicious meal and loving sexual
intercourse as “divine”, unjustly falling victim to “overzealousness” on the
part of the Catholic Church in the past, according to a newly-published book,
cited by AFP. The pontiff acknowledged in the book, published Wednesday (Sep.9),
that the church had previously sought to promote an “overzealous morality” that
denied pleasure, adding it was “a wrong interpretation of the Christian
message”. https://sptnkne.ws/DAVP
Understanding the world around us depends on our power to perceive patterns of meaning, to make the right connections, recognize what belongs with what. And we must be prepared for surprises. By linking things which do not at first sight seem to be linked, astrology reveals that happenings we accept at face value are fraught with deeper significance.
In this post we shall see how the two news items, apparently unconnected are actually manifestations of the same cosmic energies.
In Roman mythology, Pluto was the lord of the underworld while Saturn was the founder of civilizations and of social order, and conformity. Metaphorically Saturn can be thought of as the hard rocky layer that keeps the boiling lava (Pluto) of earth’s interior safely deep inside. Compare that with the primal passions (Pluto)..more appropriately authentic needs of human beings kept in check by the social order (Saturn).
Pluto’s transit through Capricorn is serving to break outmoded and artificial standards, to decimate the hypocrisies of social convention, and of social extremes. It also brings emphasis to address patterns of avoidance or repression of authentic human needs.
Mars’
retrograde cycle square to the ongoing Saturn-Pluto conjunction is the big news
for the rest of this year. Its effect is felt strongly in places where it is
brought to the angles in relevant mundane charts e.g. those of ingresses,
lunations, planetary stations etc.
Presented here is (a) the chart for the Sep. 5, Libra ingress of Mercury at the Vatican (b) the chart for the Waning Gibbous Moon of Sep.6 at Perth, Australia. Notice that both have the Mars-Saturn-Pluto square aspecting the meridian implying that the energy was going to felt strongly at these places.
Mars and Pluto, the planets of impulse and animal instincts are facing off with Saturn, the planet of social order and repression. If we have not done the
inner work, then during the Mars retrograde cycle there is likely to be some
kind of outburst – an angry
confrontation, an accident etc (News Item #1). However, at best, the honest acceptance of authentic human needs can cause a healing.
Those who are ready to heal will break away from outmoded and artificial social
standards and from arrangements that are no longer fulfilling (News Item #2).
