US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced this week the reimposition of international sanctions against Iran. Trouble is nobody is listening to Washington's remonstrations any longer. Not only has the emperor no clothes, he's lost bullying power too.
It is the European defiance of Washington's demands that seems more indicative of American impotency. Their past habitual willingness to comply with US abuse of power is contemptible. We only have to look at how the European members of the Security Council have long been sheepishly complicit in Washington's illegal warmongering.
However,

For the US Sibly:

Weakness, impotence.
For the EU chart:
Mars-Saturn: The
need to assert oneself against restrictive or authoritarian forces.
Saturn-Pluto : Tenacity and toughness; overcoming a long term
weakness
Mars-Pluto: the
ability to demonstrate extraordinary force and vigor, great self-confidence.
It is now quite easy to see how the US Sibly and the EU chart have interacted. On the one hand we can see the weakening (Neptune) of the US warmongering (Mars) while on the other hand we can see rise in confidence (Mars-Pluto) of the EU as it asserts (Mars) itself against authoritarian forces (Saturn).
In passing we may also note that the September 17, 2020 New Moon [25vi] fell on the US Sibly Neptune [22vi]. In a previous blogpost [1] on the September 2016 lunar eclipse that fell at the same position, I wrote:

ReplyDeleteIndeed there is a positive meaning to Alkaid which is the Arabic name (meaning "the leader") for Benetnasch (Eta, Ursa Major) in the Tail of the Great Bear. Benetnasch teaches that leadership is about facilitating the self-empowerment and freedom of others rather than about exerting manipulative force that controls others, mistaken as leadership and being in power.
