November began with Mercury stationing direct square Saturn. Here is the mythology behind these planetary gods:
Mercury or Hermes
Noted for his impish
character and constant search for amusement, Hermes was one of the more
colourful gods in Greek mythology. While still a baby, he stole his
half-brother Apollo’s sacred herd of 50 cattle from Pieria, cleverly reversing
their hoofmarks by adding bark shoes to make it difficult to follow their
tracks. Hermes, therefore, became associated with thieves and he managed to
keep the stolen herd until the satyrs finally discovered it in a cave in
Arcadia. https://www.ancient.eu/Hermes/
Considered the god of human messengers (modern day media personalities?), travellers, thieves, merchants, book keepers and orators, when afflicted in mundane horoscopes he came across as "the divine trickster”. An afflicted Mercury is known to astrologers to cause events connected with deceit, cheating, lying etc.
Saturn or Kronos
Saturn is the grim
reaper. With Saturn we reap the consequences of our actions, thoughts or words.
In many ways it rules over the Truth,
especially in terms of physical reality. Saturn shows us our limitations and
limits throughout life.
A transiting planetary aspect can become significant when it is brought to the angles in any mundane chart e.g. ingresses, lunations, return charts, diurnal charts etc.
Presented here are two events in which Mercury-Saturn square
is active.
Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, arrested on Wednesday from his Lower Parel house in connection with a 2018 case of abetment to suicide, spent the night at a local school which has been designated as a Covid-19 centre for the Alibag prison, an official said on Thursday. https://bit.ly/3k0U1b6
Readers who are familiar with astrology will know what is a WYNN KEY return. For those who are not please refer to the reference below [1].
India’s radix chart is drawn for its independence, Aug.15, 1947; 0:00 hrs IST, Delhi. Presented here is India’s WYNN KEY return relocated to Bombay and calculated for Nov. 4, the date that Arnab Goswami was arrested. Mercury has just stationed direct forming a square to Saturn. In the Wynn Key Return chart Mercury is placed very significantly on the MC making a square to Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn.
In astrology, Mercury rules journalists and media in general while Saturn rules the law. So obviously one interpretation of a Mercury-Saturn square is “a journalist or media person in trouble with the law”.
US
President Donald Trump has hit out at the Democrats accusing them of 'stealing'
the election.
He said, "We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!"
Here is the diurnal horoscope for the US Sibly drawn for election day. Notice the same Mercury-Saturn square aligned with the meridian. Once again we have an event, this time involving election officials (kind of book keepers?) who are cheating! [2] Incidentally, the media too is involved. And let us not forget the postal service (Mercury ruled) where date stamps on mail-in ballots have been changed according to a whistleblower!!
