A pet lion that was confiscated by Cambodian authorities last month has been returned to his owner after a surprise intervention by the prime minister. The 18-month-old male lion was illegally smuggled into the country by a Chinese national, officials said. The 70kg lion was seized on 27 June and moved to a rescue centre. Since then the owner, a Chinese man named as Zhai Xinjiang in local media, has made appeals for the return of the lion on social media and in interviews. On Sunday evening, long-time Prime Minister Hun Sen responded to the owner's pleas in a Facebook post. He said he had raised the issue with Agriculture Minister Veng Sakhon and agreed to have the lion returned to his owner if the animal was kept in a "proper cage". In this post we will see how the two news items are expressions of the Mars-Saturn-Uranus T-square. To understand the connection, presented below is an edited quote from a previous post Mars activates the Saturn-Uranus square [1]:
The square between
Saturn and Uranus in 2021 is the
defining astrological theme of the year. Astrological "squares" are
known for creating tension between two points — and with this one involving

Shown below are the charts for the Mars-Saturn opposition of July 1 drawn for (a) Phnom Penh (b) Bangkok. Notice the similarity with the Mars-Saturn-Uranus-TNP Poseidon Grand Cross aligned with the meridian. Mars is in tropical Leo – the sign linked to the Lion! A coincidence? In Cambodia, the owner had to battle against the rules (Saturn) to win the freedom (Uranus) of his pet Lion (Leo).
While we do not know the background of the incident in Bangkok, we can be certain that the accident took place either because someone was careless (negative Mars/Uranus) and did not follow safety rules (Saturn) or perhaps the concerned authority (Saturn) and their rules needed an urgent and innovative upgrade (Uranus) that had been avoided.
