The European gas crisis has hogged energy headlines for months. But that hasn’t stopped Germany from retiring half of its nuclear capacity by the end of the year and pushing an accelerated phase-out of its coal-fired plants by 2030. And for Germany’s energy security, it could spell disaster. https://bit.ly/3qr99DU
In mundane astrology, national charts are of utmost importance as directions and transits to these charts can explain many events. Here is Germany’s national chart. Notice that the December 4 solar eclipse occurred in the 5th house opposite radix Mars-Hades combination in the 11th. The table below gives the current solar arc progressions for the radix chart. The progressed Sun is in quincunx aspect to Mars-Hades so that the eclipse has acted as a trigger to the major direction.

Mars/Hades
Watch for proof of the frequent truth of the cliche: Haste makes waste --going off "half cocked" or acting on impulse often won't be productive. Some work or activities will turn out poorly; some efforts will be in vain; some actions will be malicious, derogatory or behind another's back. This is a great time to investigate and to take action to counteract the weight or mistakes of the past. But do watch for "angers" that can turn ugly or operate beneath the surface, and for aggressive behaviors that attempt to undermine or denigrate another.
And more importantly, the eclipse activates what astrologers have come to know as the “nuclear axis”. Also notice that the news comes to us just as transit Mars [9sa] prepares to trigger the radix Mars-Hades and the eclipse degree!
The Nuclear Axis
Repeated nuclear events over the past 58 years have led some astrologers to describe these degrees across early Gemini-Sagittarius as "the nuclear axis," which is highly sensitive to transits. One critical degree in this axis appears to be Saturn's location at the time of the first chain reaction, 8 degrees 56 minutes of Gemini. http://www.stariq.com/pagetemplate/article.asp?PageID=1116
Putting the pieces together Germany’s decision to retire the nuclear power plants may be a mistake!
