Russia has suspended natural gas deliveries to Poland via the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline, Polish news portal Onet reported on Tuesday, citing sources within the Polish government and state energy company PGNiG. The information has not been officially confirmed by Moscow or Warsaw. According to the publication, a crisis group has been set up in the Ministry of Climate Affairs. Regular readers are aware that a mundane chart drawn for the midpoint of the capitals of countries is a good indicator of relationship issues especially when it aspects the angles. Shown here is the chart for upcoming lunar eclipse drawn for the midpoint between Warsaw and Moscow. The eclipse axis makes a T-square with Saturn on the MC. With South Node in watery Scorpio square Saturn in airy Aquarius, people are being asked to recognize the dysfunctional traits of Scorpio (e.g. trying to hurt or control others) need to be purged, failing which there is danger of breaking up with friends (Aquarius). In his Combination of Stellar Influences, for Saturn-Nodes, Ebertin has: “co-operative work or team work is steadily becoming more difficult; termination of associations”.
Aquarius being an air sign is reasonable and objective. Among other things it is associated with friendships and social groups in a broad sense. When dysfunctional Scorpio clashes with reasonable Aquarius, something must give. Often friendships break up. Since Hades/Kronos makes a hard aspect to the eclipse and Saturn, it is likely that leaders (Kronos) make mistakes or do something stupid (Hades) which then become the reason for the breakup.

So what triggered the eclipse chart? A well known rule in astrology is that an eclipse can come to life in advance when a planet moves over it. On Monday, Mercury transiting at [25ta] was conjunct the eclipse Sun [25ta] thereby triggering it.

Progressed Ascendant is triggering the radix Saturn-Neptune conjunction. Saturn is blockage or stoppage and Neptune is gas so we have Russia stopping gas to Poland as a simple manifestation.
At this blogsite, I have often mentioned that Saturn is a reality-check. It brings the energies of discipline and judgment to balance Neptune’s imaginary and escapist leanings. Unfortunately, our escapism is brought to our awareness in the harsh light of day. If so, our challenge then is to accept this new insight, and take responsibility for the actions that brought us to this place, and start taking steps to change our behavior.
