The EU decided to unfreeze Russian bank deposits under the guise of a food crisis, but the reality is that Germany agreed to exchange part of the sanctions for... some natural gas from Gazprom. The news has sent shockwaves through Ukraine, which sees itself losing support within the EU.
Can this change of heart be seen in the stars? Indeed it can. In a previous post [1] we saw that the Full Moon at the midpoint between Berlin and Moscow was placed very significantly on the horizon axis.
In its positive expression a Cancer-Capricorn Full Moon is about growing up. It is about uncovering security needs and integrating them into one’s life discarding false buffers along the way. The opposition can unearth deep seated fears which in fact might be related to earliest feelings around security. A Cancerian-Plutonian pattern can be about the release of something that is stagnant and stuck in the past. By focusing on the polarity between what is truly secure (Capricorn) and what has been created as a superficial security concern (Cancer) one opens doors of opportunity. The opposition can mark an evolution towards a new base of operation and new relationships between family (Cancer) and society (Capricorn).
Notice that in the Full Moon chart Ceres, the dwarf planet connected with food, is conjunct the Sun and opposite Moon-Pluto. This is why the food crisis has come into the picture. But Ceres goes beyond just food, it is about nurturing oneself in the right way.
The Full Moon is reminding us that in order to take care of ourselves we REALLY have to be true to ourselves, not harbor or permit long periods of unhealthy emotions, and work to become very clear on the impact of exposure to manipulation by our caretakers or those in authority (Germany - US?). With the Moon-Pluto conjunction all that is stagnant and stuck can be released, and toxins can be purged emotionally or psychologically.
