Technology is constantly evolving, and methods aimed at bettering life are always being introduced, created and updated. This is never more true than right now, when technologies aimed at eliminating drunk driving are right on the horizon . The federal government has mandated that all vehicles sold after 2026 must have a kill switch that can disable your vehicle based on your driving performance.

National charts can be a treasure house of surprising information that are revealed by directions to chart elements. The news above comes just as a New Moon [21sc] - Mars [22sc] in the 12th house makes a quincunx aspect to radix Mars [21ge]. At [21sc], the Moon is conjunct stars of the Serpent, which among other things, is linked to “toxic substances/addiction”.

In the US Sibly, Mars [21ge] is square Neptune[22vi]. At their midpoint and making a semisquare aspect to both Mars and Neptune is the asteroid Dionysus [8le]. Both Dionysus (Bacchus) and Neptune are linked to alcohol addiction. And of course Mars in Gemini is a sign associated with cars and driving.

The "belligerent drunk" is a typical manifestation. The idea here combines addiction with action on behalf of SELF interests. So, yep, you may see more than your share of folks who are neck deep in denial while they're amazingly self-preoccupied (and seem to hardly notice others and what's happening with them.) Do expect to register The Little King Syndrome in a number of others...and to see lots of immaturity and a nearly adolescent disregard for consequences. Martha Wescott
When properly used, astrology can help connect events that at first sight appear to have nothing to do with each other. In a previous post [1], I touched upon how the Mars-Neptune square has made the US addicted to the “forever wars” that has led to the destruction of nations with millions dead.
The current Sibly progressed solar arc Saturn [20ge32] is within a degree of conjunction to radix Mars. Saturn is putting the karmic “brakes” on all kinds of addictive behaviour.
