Astrology of the New York earthquake

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake recorded in New Jersey that shook residents in surrounding states and New York City on Friday morning was one of the strongest in state history. The temblor was reported about 5 miles north of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, at about 10:23 a.m. Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey. The epicenter was about 45 miles from New York City, where residents reported shaking furniture and floors. https://tinyurl.com/mr23mj4b

An earthquake is often linked to an eclipse which can then serve as a primary cause. A secondary cause can be the transits at the exact time of the eclipse.

On the morning of April 5, the Sun[16ar17] had just reached a conjunction to the true North Node[15ar37] while the Moon [1pi57] significantly placed on the MC was separating from its waning crescent phase.

The conjunction of the Sun with the Nodes is a phenomenon known as Moon Wobble.

Moon Wobbles were discovered in the 1930's, when research by astrologer Carl Payne Tobey (1902-1980), the original editor of Astrology Magazine, revealed that disasters occur in cycles associated with the conjunction (0°), opposition (180°) and square (90°) from the Sun to the Moon's Node. These powerful contacts occur when the Sun and the Node are in the same sign, or the opposing sign, or when the Sun is in a square aspect to the nodal axis.

During Moon Wobble the instability factor is high, resulting in more accidents, fires, plane crashes, freak accidents, floods, and feats of nature, bizarre weather patterns, earthquakes, tornadoes, violence, terrorism, riots, and political and personal upheavals.

However, the primary cause is the March 25 lunar eclipse, which along with its nodal axis was square the horizon at New York. The eclipse luminaries make hard aspects to the Jupiter-Uranus (upheaval) in fixed sign Taurus (earth) conjunction in the 4th house.

Any lingering doubt about the role of Jupiter-Uranus is removed if we progress the eclipse chart to the date/time of the quake. Not surprisingly, the progressed IC reaches an exact conjunction to Uranus.
