Lunar Eclipse: The Parting Of Ways

“The difficulty lies not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping from old ones.” – John Maynard Keynes

The Parting of Ways

The Full Moon lunar eclipse of Sept 17  is square Jupiter, sextile Uranus, conjunct Neptune, sextile Pluto. Exaggeration of perspectives, work or health matters will backfire. But there is also support for higher minded pursuits, pragmatic economic or resources issues. Edward Wollmann

The central issue here is to understand that the eclipse is highlighting a Jupiter-Neptune square that started as a conjunction about which Gray Crawford wrote:

The conjunction between Jupiter and Neptune will take place on April 12, 2022 at twenty-four degrees of Pisces. The combination of Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces will necessitate a descent into the dissolution of our previous beliefs, embodying the essence that will eventually coagulate out of the disintegrating stirring of our inner life. As a result, the disorientation and disillusionment that can occur under the influence of Jupiter and Neptune must be kept in mind while also remembering their capacity for fostering hopes and aspirations that go beyond the conditioning of past identities and beliefs. Dane Rudhyar wrote that a key issue with Jupiter is the tendency for people to seek success through conformity with the expectations and rules of the present power structures, whereas the influence of Neptune may render a future form we may seek which transcends the problematic and oppressive aspects of the dominant cultures we live within. The eclipse Moon is amid the stars of Pegasus:

Those who fail to find a path to enlightenment are prone to depression and despair...but others with the help of Pegasus learn to fly high over their tribulations. A few turn their alienation, frustrations, rage and/or mental instabilities into sheer butchery, becoming cold, sadistic murderers. To those  who dare to fly high, the celestial waters eternally flowing from the Aquarius’ Uran offer healing and enlightenment.

The eclipse Moon is conjunct the star Matar [26pi03], Eta Pegasus, from Al Sa‘d al Matar—the Fortunate Rain. Matar lies just across the cusp into sidereal Pisces. Matar is a fortuitous star of Pegasus—perhaps offering a release from psychic-emotional tension to go forth--and perhaps offering a refreshing spring shower or two

The September 2024 lunar eclipse also coincides with Mercury opposite Saturn - a combination that is about the parting of ways which clearly resonates with the Sabian symbol for the Full Moon.

PHASE 356 (PISCES 26°): WATCHING THE VERY THIN MOON CRESCENT APPEARING AT SUNSET, DIFFERENT PEOPLE REALIZE THAT THE TIME HAS COME TO GO AHEAD WITH THEIR DIFFERENT PROJECTS.

Translated into practical terms refers to the fact that, confronted with the opportunity to expand their energy along new lines, modern individuals will react according to their own personal characters.
