Rape of Deianeira by the Centaur Nessus
A popular tourist town and Unesco heritage site in southern India is now being emptied of its tourists after a horrific gang rape and murder has gained international attention. Last Thursday (Mar 6) some women were visiting an outdoor nature spot - including an Israeli tourist and an Indian homestay owner - where they were stargazing with two other male tourists near the town of Hampi in Karnataka, when they were brutally assaulted by three male Indian attackers.
The chart for the upcoming total lunar eclipse (already active) at Hampi has it placed very significantly on the meridian axis. The Sabian for the eclipse degree is:

THE SPIRITUAL PRACTICE OF INNOCENCE
Despite having a nobility of demeanour and powerful will the more advanced seeker is able to radiate innocence and purity, holding on to a childlike simplicity of being. The individual whose innocence is fixed upon spiritual realization should genuinely radiate INNOCENCE.
Every Sabian can be expressed positively or negatively. Innocence must not be equated with lack of discrimination. This resonates with the stars of the eclipse about which in a previous post [1], I explained:
Zavijava is of a passive and submissive character and naïve followers....The issue of discernment arises, which is required to see the illusionists from those of real spiritual and moral value; and to find the real truth hidden beneath the drama—to grasp the grail of Alkes...the Golden Chalice of truth and salvation...
Nessus [19pi] on the MC[21pi] along with the Sun and Saturn. Nessus is the “bad” boy centaur often linked to rape and sexual violation.
In [2] I had written in detail about the astrology of Nessus and also touched on what the Mars-Saturn-Poseidon Grand was about. The eclipse chart carries the same Grand Trine with Mars now moving in direct motion.
The core issue of a dominant Nessus is the difficulty in expressing oneself in relation to the other, because someone has the feeling or illusion that the other person wants to invade the personal privacy of one’s own being.
Whatever be the reason Nessus was rejected in the past, the current Grand Trine is offering a resolution and better understanding of the Nessus in our lives particularly in light of Mars’ station in the nakshatra Punarvasu - representing a deep inner strength to restart, replenish, and grow after a period of setback, with a strong association to the themes of rebirth, expansion, and boundless potential.
Saturn in Pisces, and the potential here for Saturn, representing the process of maturation and wisdom, (perhaps healing attitudes that have been too restrictive) is such that we may be going back to something that has happened before, but there's a different result this time because of maturation and reflection. The retrograde often implies revision and reflection—going back to revise and reflect—and contacting Saturn in a constructive trine can mean I have a new and more mature way of understanding something or doing something.
